Coffee and brunch!

The vegan breakfast at Layne's is great - potato on a breakfast is a little distressing to me, but they were really good (as was the bacon, which I was surprised about). It's a nice little cafe generally.

Had a full vegan breakfast and a cappuccino with oat milk. Sure filled me up!

Solid Vegan Full English

I ordered the full English breakfast with an oat latte last week. It came with the This Isn’t bacon and decent sausages so it felt like eating a naughty fry up.

They also have vegan sausage baps and fresh pastries on the menu so there’s a few things to choose from.

Otherwise just a standard cafe with no frills. Very busy, we had to book a table!

Pros: Fresh vegan pastries, A range of dairy free milks

Cons: Quite small and loud inside.

Leeds institution

Crazy that this place doesn’t have a tonne of reviews because it really is a Leeds institution which has operated in the city waaaay before most of the other places. It always have strong vegan options that are tasty and good value. Coffee is probably the best in Leeds.

Best brunch in Leeds

I'm surprised this place wasn't on happy cow already as its super popular. I had the vegetarian chorizo and it was AMAZING. The polenta complemented the tartness of the tomatoes and chorizo very well. The coffee is also really good as they are originally a coffee bar. I defo reccomend this place for breakfast/lunch over any other brunch places in Leeds.
