Great pizza, low-key service - Edit
While the pizza is amazing, this place is rather laid back - don't expect too much of the waiters.

Incredible, this place is absolutely stella! - Edit
The most delicious vegan pizza I have ever eaten. My omnivorous partner agrees. The soft dough, fresh ingredients make and yummy vegan cheese makes this place an absolute place for any vegan pizza lover! I loved that you can actually watch your pizza cook in the stone oven. Absolute 100% recommend! We also had the tiramisu and that was truly delicious!

Perfect pizza - Edit
I took a non-veggie friend here and we have nothing but praise. Firstly, despite the restaurant being somewhat small, the interior was very clean and minimal - in fact, you'd be forgiven for thinking that the food on offer would be a lot more expensive than it actually is, given how classy the place looks! And for the cherry on top, they even had a bit of jazz playing subtly in the background. Definitely bring a date here for dinner if you want to impress. The restaurant was quite busy at 8PM on a Wednesday so we decided to share a table with another couple so that at least we could make our orders. Luckily, our servers were attentive enough to resolve this awkward arrangement as soon as another table was vacant. And now, onto the pizzas: I ordered the Salame and my friend, the Stella Nera, and by Jove did they look amazing. The pizzas had large fluffy crusts peppered with charring, and my Salame had generous patches of gooey vegan cheese. Biting into the pizza was... heaven. The dough was chewy but smooth. The salami was salty and umami. The cheese was soft and mingled well with the sauce for that creamy, fatty mouthfeel.
Read moreAsking my friend about his La Stella Nera, he said "It's delicious. It's as good as the other pizza places I go to if not better". I did in fact try a slice of his pizza, and the combination of smoked tofu and sundried tomatoes just did a dance in my mouth. The only thing I could improve about it would if it came with cheese. I wasn't too sure if the dough was sourdough or not, and upon asking the waitress I was impressed to be informed that the dough was not sourdough, but is a yeast dough made using a long-fermentation process. And to top it all off, the bill was accompanied with a pair of petite yet rich chocolate biscuits. There is no excuse for missing out this place if you are in Berlin. amazing vegan pizza, outstanding vegan cheese. - Edit
I know everyone has different taste. But the quality of the food in this place is really good. The cheese melts and is stretchy. The staff is really nice and the pizzas are big so we were able to share one pizza and one dessert.

Great pizza, great desserts - Edit
Though it was quite busy the staff was very friendly and helpful. They serve marvelous pizzas with a very nice crust and fresh ingredients. The cream in the tiramisu is out of this world. Also a nice variety of pastas we have to come back for!

good pizza - Edit
The pizza crust was delicious and the vegetables were good too. The vegan salami wasn't anything like we expected but not bad. The vegan cheese was alright but kinda sticky. The ricotta in the calzone was very good though. I think you can find pizza that is just as good at a non-vegan establishment and just have it without cheese. but it is nice to support a vegan place. the service was very american. we didnt get our pizzas at tge same time and had some plates and glasses taken away before we were all finished. the waiter kept coming to ask if we needed anything. so value for money is meh.

Not the best cheese - Edit
During the years I think vegan cheese has umotivered from bring plastic-ish to super delicious - but for some reason, la stella nera still uses the bad ones. Really sad, cause the place is cozy and the dough nice

Delicioso! - Edit
Stella Nera is amazing! The pizza tastes great. They prepare it the original Italian way. We had a pizza Bianca Cipollo for only 5€, a pizza rossa for ~8€, a big Insalata mists for 5€ and two desserts - spelt tartelette with lemon curd and three dark chocolate pralines. We enjoyed everything very much and the staff is super friendly too!

Best pizza EVER. - Edit
Okay so first of all, I'm usually not a huge fan of pizzas. But the pizzas at La stella nera are something else! They are just perfect. Very crispy crust and nice thin bottom. Delicious toppings and a-ma-ZING vegan cheeze. The pizzas were so good that we had to come back before flying back home. The staff is also really friendly and the prices are very reasonable. Really a must-go when you are in Berlin!

Best Vegan Pizza you will ever have - Edit
The pizza in this restaurant is worth going for again and again and again. Hardly a month goes by that I don't call in. I have brought all my family there as well as copious amounts of visitors which are non vegan- and it has gone down a treat with all of them. Im so delighted they exist.
Read moreThe staff are also super nice and always very pleasant to my non vegan friends making cheese jokes etc. how original.
Their calzone is called the love supreme and is actually named after john coltranes legendary album.
Their beer selection is really quality. Spent collective pils or the red ale are both delicious.
They have probably the best vegan tiramisu you will ever have. Legit.

Tasty. - Edit
I went there a few times and ate only some of the pizzas, nothing else they offer. The pizzas are - intentionally so - pretty thin, so you don't get that much "mass per bite", but the dough is very tasty and usually somewhat crispy, so that's fine. What I didn't like about the pizzas containing olives was that they don't use pitted olives, which makes eating them together with the rest of the pizza not that convenient; and I don't quite get why they use them instead of actually better fitting pitted ones. Apart from that I would really like it if they introduced the option to get not regular dough, but whole-wheat one. There was another place a few years ago offering that, but apparently not enough people cared for a healthier wheat variant so it was discontinued. I'd visit the place more often were it to have grain I prefer consuming.
Read morePros: Tasty, Average prices, if that's a "pro", Explicitly not "professional", friendly staff.
Cons: Pizzas are too little if you're a glutton like me, Whole-wheat options would be nice.
