The service was friendly too, and the atmosphere very nice.
Reservation highly recommended.

I used to absolutely swear by their pizza, but now I'd only recommend their potato pizza or calzones. I find the rest too expensive for what you get, especially since now there is far superior vegan pizza in Berlin!

We’ve been on the hunt for the best vegan pizza for years, and La Stella Nera truly hit the mark. It’s hard to find great vegan pizza, as most places rely on refined vegan products like weird tasting cheese and meat substitutes. However, this pizzeria makes everything in-house, from the mozzarella to the ricotta and even the seitan for the Diavola pizza. It was, without a doubt, the best vegan pizza’s we’ve ever had. The dough was perfect, and the flavors were incredibly authentic. The Diavola pizza had just a bit too much seitan for our taste, but the overall flavor was spot on.

The Best Vegan Pizza in Berlin - Edit
This is hands down the best vegan pizza in Berlin, if not anywhere. The vegan cheese is actually wild. It tastes just like mozzarella, which is so rare. I’ve been here many times and it always hits. I always order the carciofina piccante because I love the kick from the chilies, and the garlic and chili olive oils on the table make everything even better. Im giving it 5 stars this time even though the topping-to-crust ratio was off. There were way too many toppings, which made the pizza a bit unbalanced. That’s never happened before though, so I’m guessing it was just a fluke. I recommend making a reservation before coming because it’s always busy!

Very good, woodoven pizza's! They make their own mozzarella, which was lovely and soft. We also had a pizza with Oliver, capers and garlic, without 'cheese'. Although the mozzarella tasted great, we didn't miss it on this pizza.

Read moreI found this about the manager/owner: "This person was continuously making fun of mental health issues, didn’t respect people’s personal limits and sick leaves, pressuring people with disabilities, saying „people like that cannot work here/in gastronomy“. He spoke disrespectfully about multiple people in front of them and behind their back, saying that he „can’t watch them working“ and how slow they are."

I popped in here for a quick evening meal just by myself and it was super busy with a large party in. They managed to squeeze me in which I was super grateful for as I'd been looking forward to visiting!

I heard that this place is no longer a collective, it is run by a very complicated and rude person who does not respect workers rights, without discussion took the position of the only boss and falsely claims that it is still a collective. I don't know if I want to support a vegan restaurant that does this.
