Dry croissants - Edit
I was really excited to go here and try out the croissants but the one I had was really dry and bland, very disappointing! They also didn't have much in the way of vegan lunch options, just some potatoes and mixed veg. Not the best place for vegans.

Vegan breakfast - Edit
Vegan breakfast includes a croissant (range of vegan croissants - plain, nut, chocolate almond, chocolate coconut and various fruit jam options were on offer, these change daily), coffee/tea and fresh juice for €9, vegan muffins are also available. Vegan salad options available at lunchtime. Soy, oat & almond milk available. Staff speak English well and were really attentive, cafe is a stones throw from the Colosseum. We ended up having breakfast here every morning of our trip! :)

Delicious vegan croissants - Edit
We went here just to check the place out, around lunchtime. They had a lunch salad bar, where you could build your own salad. There were plenty vegan options. The staff was friendly, knew exactly what vegans eat (and don't eat).

Limited choice - Edit
This bar is conveniently located within reach from the Colosseum, but when we went there there were just some veggies and rice as a vegan option from their buffet. Staff are friendly but the lack of choices is a real turndown. They have good options for breakfast though, with some really mouthwatering croissants and non dairy milk for your cappuccino.

Vegan breakfast - Edit
I went early in the day and got the vegan breakfast, which includes a soy cappuccino, fresh orange juice, and your choice of croissant from their selection of vegan croissants. Staff spoke English well and was very helpful. There's enough seating inside to find a spot to sit.

Small but yummy selection for vegans - Edit
La Licata is relatively close to the Colosseum area, so nice for a quick lunch while sightseeing. We had two plates of buffet style grilled vegetables/rice which was quite nice, as well as a delicious chocolate croissant. They also have a large selection of alcoholic drinks if you want to have some fun.

cafeteria style plate food, fun and lively atmosphere - Edit
Yummy food! There's a case of salads and veggies most of which are vegan or vegetarian. Apparently they do a vegan breakfast which we will definitely come back for. Staff was friendly and helpful. Awesome spot for lunch and a beer.

Good healthy food - Edit
We went to La Licata for lunch. The server explained how it worked, we choose what we wanted on our plate and paid by weight. They had several vegetables options that were tasty - breaded eggplant, spinach, rice, zucchini, etc. It was a yummy retreat from all the pasta and pizza in Italy. They also have vegan coffees and pastries for breakfast. The only problem is that it was very busy and they had one waiter. It took us several minutes to get his attention to get our check. Located a short walk from the Colosseum.
