Traditional vegetarian Chinese dishes mostly made with tofu or mushrooms. Even though many signs at the restaurant say "vegan" it is just a mix of "veg" for vegetarian and "An" for Jing'An. Many dishes don't have any obvious non-vegan ingredients; however the ingredients for the soups and sauces are not listed. Some items contain egg.

Delicious near-temple veg restaurant

Nice vegetarian restaurant to try out when visiting nearby Jing’An temple. I loved the highlighted noodle soup dish, and also the fried noodles. The buns were alright. Not English-speaking friendly but everything is manageable with a translator app. Ordering is from the counter.

Cheap and good. Helped me out with delivery.

Cheap, fast, pretty good. Had a Chinese speaking friend help order by phone for me and they delivered to my hotel even though they don’t usually. Large portions.

Pros: Vegan baozhi, Large portions

Cons: Not 100% sweet items were non-dairy

Good Temple Veg Food, Super Inexpensive

For 37RMB ($5) I got an entire bowl of noodle soup, a veg Bao, and a red bean paste Bao. Exactly what I was looking for. Could have used a little more flavor

Interesting vegetarian food

I’ve been here twice. The food was very good. The noodle soup was very delicious. The pricing is reasonable. Mostly local people eating there.

For ordering you have to scan the QR Code with either Alipay or WeChat and order whatever you like. The translation option in the app helps you translate what to order. Then they will bring you the food.

Good food, okay price, challenging for non-chinese speakers

The food I had was pretty good, but a bit pricey for chinese standards (I paid 40 yuan) navigating the ordering process on the tablet they provide without knowing any chinese is hard, but the staff helped me as best as they could. also, most dishes have a short list of the main ingredients in english

Pros: helpfull staff, good food, main ingredients listed in english

Cons: above average price, challenging for foreigners
