Surprisingly the Spicy Vegan Ramen was actually very spicy compared to Japanese standards. Quite different than other vegan 🌱 ramens in Tokyo. Definitely a must have!

Has four options for vegan ramen. We had the miso ramen and the tantanmen and they were both delicious and good portions. Good thick flavor, and additional addons like menma and mizuna if you like. Great place if you’re with non-vegans as well. You might have to line up though, on busy days.

Wife and daughter really liked the dry vegan tantan noodle option even though they don't care for ramen. They found it tasty and the Chewy noodles were lovely. Same great chewy noodles were in my spicy miso ramen. The noodles are great because they aren't the typical skinny noodles but the broth was typical salty miso. Son's wet tantan noodles were typical skinny 'ramen' noddles. He ranked them 3.5 out of 4 stars.

My friend and I were in a rush and glad to find this through Happy Cow while at Shibuya crossing. We were lucky to get seats right away, but others had to wait quite a while to get seated.

We enjoyed the delicious bowls of ramen at Jikasei Mensho! There's a wide selection, including traditional ramen dishes like miso ramen, but I can highly recommend the tantanmen ramen.
Read moreThe restaurant also had a handy allergen chart. There's a vegan izakaya on the same floor of the building, so there's another option nearby in case Jikasei Mensho is busy. And the roof garden at the top of the building offers great views!

We love that they were advertising vegan ramen in a big board on the hall. That's how we saw them. They only have two vegan ramens and we ordered those two, and they were the best Ramens in all Japan.

Its great that they offer a few vegan Ramen options. So in case you had planned to go the top rated vegan restaurant at the same place (basement of Shibuya Parco) but don't want to wait that long (we were hungry), this is a great alternative.

Ticket order system in the basement of a big fancy Parco in Shibuya. I got the spicy miso ramen with a side of cabbage and a beer. It was a nice spice level and a bit hearty. My favourite part was the amount of veg and other fillings in the ramen. Happy it wasn’t 90% soup. Good quick turnaround for a meal😄close to the best ramen I’ve had in Japan.

The spicy vegan ramen was amazing, definitely one of the best I’ve had in Japan! The broth was so flavorful and it came with some really nice toppings like soy mince. The price was 1000 yen which is quite good for vegan ramen.

Got the vegan tantanmen, it was certainly the best vegan ramen I've had so far in Japan. Great spot to go if you have non-veg friends but you want more than just 1 menu option, plus it's inside of a fun mall so there's plenty to do.

Chaos Kitchen (basement floor of the Shibuya Parco mall) is a maze, so just take the escalator down and walk around until you find it.
