All you can eat - Edit
Nice vegan buffet with lots of different options. They had four warm dishes and two kinds of rice when we visited. Plus the extended salad buffet. I especially liked their canneloni, cabbage casserole and curry.

Cheapest and most fulfilling option in Lisbon - Edit
The food is very good, and the price is very low. It's one of few restaurant where I can bring my non-vegetarian friends and they will be happy at the end of the meal. They also offer the option to take away. Only downside, dishes do not change very often, but that's only a problem for regular customers like myself.

I have been to both locations of Jardim das Cerejas. Both offer a small buffet with plenty of choice. Everything I tried was very good and didn’t taste like it had been kept warm for a long time. Included in the price for the buffet are salads, a soup, savoury baked goods, main dishes like curries, a vegan lasagna, vegan “meat balls”, vegetables and rice…not included are desserts and beverages. They have a lot of dishes with legumes, so you definitely won’t leave hungry and you’ll “get your proteins”.
Read moreThe interior of the location near Carmo Square is much nicer, but it is also smaller and tends to be crowded with tourists. Jardim das Cerejas II near the Picoas metro stop feels like a fast food restaurant and on most places you don’t get any daylight and can’t look out to the street. So both places aren’t ideal for a romantic evening or something similar.
Prices are incredibly cheap. The price for the buffet is 2 € less at lunchtime than in the evening, Jardim das Cerejas II (near Picoas) is cheaper than Jardim das Cerejas I (near Carmo Square). I don’t remember the price, but I think it was approx. 8 € at lunchtime. Fresh juices start at 2 €.
Jardim das Cerejas is such a great place when you are hungry and don’t want to spend much time (and money). In many vegan locations portions are so tiny – here you can really eat until you are full, won’t have to spend a fortune to reach that state, and still get to taste great food!

So I went there with a friend as there are not too many vegan buffets, but I have to say I was not impressed at all. First, do not expect anything cozy to sit for dinner as the interior is so basic and it was cold due to the door being opened for people coming in and out. The food was very basic and bit cold. It was not bad, just very basic and not worth the price. As we were not impressed with the buffet, did not try the dessert. With so many options of amazing vegan restaurants, definitely would not go back again.

Found the food interesting, with many different foods for allsorts of tastes.. All of the food was good including the soup , refried beans , lasagne, pakora, this was all with salad, rice and couscous .

I ate there most nights during my lisbon stay last week. Excellent tasty simple food. Staff very friendly. I went alone some nights and felt very comfortable. Self service buffet. €10.50 night / €8.50 lunch. There is always a hot soup, then there is a table with many dishes of salad items, beans, mini pizza squares etc, then a selection of 6 to 9 hot items I had no idea what i was eating at times but safe in the knowledge that 100% vegan. The deserts are delicious and you can get cider, beer, wines, fresh juices & hot drinks.
