Went to this restaurant twice last year (april and june 2024) and I loved it!
Read moreIt's a cheap buffet, with a good variety of options - cold/salads and warm main dishes.
I realized the second time that the starters and the soup were the same, but the main dishes were different.
For now, it's my favorite restaurant in Lisbon!

Vegan buffet with AYCE formula. Simple dishes with an Indian Style (but not spicy). Good and affordable. The guy was really nice, the girl not so much, a smile would be more welcoming.

The buffet offers tasty and somehow simple food and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming.
There's no bells and and whistles, just very honest and delightful food.
Can't wait to be again in Lisboa and stop by! ♡

I honestly can't understand how this restaurant got so many positive reviews. Of all the vegan places we tried in Lisbon it was the only one we thought to be really bad.
Read moreIf you are very hungry, on a tight budget AND don't care too much about taste, you may like it. However, if I go to a restaurant I expect the chef to make an effort to please my palate which was not the case here. The small buffet consists of some salads that are rather bland and four overcooked hot dishes that don't taste much either. There's salt, pepper, oil and vinegar available but honestly, that wouldn't help much to improve food with an Indian touch.
Also, I read a lot about the great service and friendly staff but it really didn't feel like it.
Despite the Jardim das Cervejas being an all you can eat place we left hungry cause we love good food, which we didn't get there. Would have given one star only, if possible.
