I was surprised at what it looks like - deep dish for sure but more like a round calzone almost. Loads of toppings, the vegan cheese was in little cubes which was bit of a weird one but it did still taste good. So busy, even on a Tuesday night.

The ULTIMATE Vegan Deep Dish Pizza - Edit
This was unlike any vegan pizza I’ve had before. It’s a very thick deep dish pizza. The vegan option has vegan cheese and a range of vegetables on top. The dough is the best part! It’s so thick and doughy! The toppings let it down a bit though for me. As the pizza is so thick, when you eat the middle of the pizza it is just a really thick layer of too much cheese and it becomes a mush with the vegetables and toppings. It also became very filling and stodgy very fast. It’s amazing if you love deep dish pizzas like me and I’d never had a vegan pizza like this before so it’s great that there is the option! I would love to see more vegan options on their menu in the future though, including some different topping options.

Delicious vegan pizza - Edit
Great location, quick service, delicious vegan pizza. Although it didn’t have a cheese pull they are honest about that on the menu, taste wasn’t compromised. It wasn’t quite Chicago deep dish as it needed more tomato sauce, but very close.

There was one vegan option, although I'm sure if you asked they would be able to adjust some of their other options. Interestingly, they did have a disclaimer on their menu explaining that their vegan cheese wasn't stretchy but still tasty. It certainly was tasty, so was the dough, sauce and toppings. My main issue was that as you eat it, it kind of turns into a bit of a mush. I even questioned if there was a base to the pizza it almost disappeared in the sauce!
Read moreI think the issue is that the cow cheese used in their non vegan options acts as a buffer between the base and the tomato. Whereas the vegan cheese does not do this, so everything's melds together too quickly and becomes less pleasant to eat.
Vegan cheese is such a hard one to get right and I'm sure they have spent a long time developing their recipe. And it does taste nice! Unfortunately, I just don't think it does what it needs to do in terms of the structure of the pizza.

Only one option but the toppings are easily customised. I would recommend going here just to have the vegan pizza option! I'm not against going to restaurants that only have a few options because the more demand for the vegan options over the other choices the more they will introduce.
