Vegan Roast and mushroom pie

In addition to the vegan burger there was a nut roast and a mushroom pie. Both very tasty. So was the apple crumble for pudding. Quirky little upstairs dining area above the pub.

We had to wait quite long for our food, but they were very apologetic and offered us free drinks and dessert to make up for it.

Classic UK pub cuisine

I love to have typical food in vegan! This one was really good in a typical British atmosphere. Love it.
Only thing is, the lack of protein, I’d love to at least have tofu or any meat alternatives instead of just lentil.
Also it’s frozen and the center of both out plate was still cold.

Great lentil pie

I was up for lunch at a pub but wanted more than the typical Beyond Burger. This pub in a historic building offered a great lentil and vegetable cottage pie that hit the spot.
