Food was cold - Edit
When I got there it was packed. Went to their automated ordering screens and it was really easy and all information is provided, before finishing you enter the 3 digit number of the next sign you will out in your table so that the waiter knows where you are. I accidentally clicked “No thank you “ for the Tip. I usually always give something. I waited almost 20 minutes before receiving my burger. Most groups that had arrived after me received their orders before me. When the waiter brought my burger, she literally dumped it on my table and left. My burger was completely cold. Was it because I forgot to leave a tip?

I'm a big fan of self service, I always use self check out at supermarkets so it was a positive surprise that they have kiosks to use. Maybe I was a little too silly to use them though because while scrolling through the terminal I accidentally clicked on ingredients the whole time which made me end up with a double patty without me realising. That means my burger was really filling which made me unable to finish my fries but you are also getting a bunch of fries. Unfortunately the fries were really thin, I like bigger ones better but that is just a personal preference. Every dip costs 1,50 to 2 Euro each unfortunately and you won't get a bunch of it. I already was out of my dip after I had finished not even half of my fries. I would recommend more than one dip but who wants to pay 3-5 Euro just for dips?

Read moreMeine Chilly Cheese Balls schwammen in einer Mayosauce obwohl sie laut Beschreibung mit einer separaten Sauce serviert werden sollten.Auf meine Reklammation bei der nebenbei bemerkt sehr unfreundlichen Bedienung, geschah rein gar nichts, kein Angebot mir die Bällchen zu ersetzen und keine Entschuldigung!!
Das Bestellsystem am Touchscreen ist sehrwohl ganz innovativ aber auch sehr rigide, möchte man spontan überm Essen noch einen Drink oder einen weiteren Snack nachbestellen, so ist man gebeten wieder an den Touchsreen zu gehen und dort eine weitere Bestellung aufzugeben, keine Bedienung am Tisch!
In den Toiletten konnte man sich durch ein defektes Waschbecken die Hände nicht waschen, statt dessen lagen Feuchttücher bereit, die zum Teil im Becken verteilt waren, man konnte nicht mehr unterscheiden ob sie benutzt oder unbenutzt waren, das war schon sehr eklig.
Ich kann nach unserer Erfahrung, das Restaurant leider nicht weiterempfehlen.

Read moreLeider fing schon der Start nicht gut an. Als wir der Kellnerin beim Eintreten in das Restaurant mitteilten, dass wir reserviert hätten, verdrehte diese die Augen und führte uns allem Anschein nach zu irgendeinem noch nicht saubergemachten Tisch. Nach dem Namen der Reservierung wurde nicht gefragt. Der Tisch klebte. Leider machte keiner Anstalten diesen zu reinigen. Auch war keine Bedienung in Sicht. Daher reinigten wir den Tisch selbst.
Nachdem wir online am Tisch über den QR-Code bestellt hatten, kam und kam einfach Niemand. Erst nach 40 Minuten wurden uns die Getränke gebracht. Das Essen folgte noch später. Die Pommes und die Burger wurden vollkommen kalt serviert. Auch wurde einer der Burger fehlerhaft serviert. Eine Beschwerde war nicht möglich, da schlicht keine Bedienung in Sicht war bzw. diese sogar den Anschein erweckte, vor einem flüchten zu wollen. Mithin konnte hier kein Gespräch aufgebaut werden. Da man direkt bei der Bestellung online bezahlen musste, konnte auch keine Erstattung oder Ähnliches erfolgen. Dazu ist hinzuzufügen, dass die Speisen relativ hochpreisig sind.
Ich traue mich nicht, dem Laden eine weitere Chance zu geben, wobei die Burger in warm sicher potenziell gehabt hätten.

We got our food very fast on a busy saturday.
The chickn patty could be bigger but was very delicious! Also the Chili cheeze Burger was soooo yummy! Superfries are perfectly seasoned 👍
There was a bit too much cholocate Sauce on Top of the Mini donuts but in combination with the softice its actually a blessing in disguise! :DD
Staff was also very friendly and kept the place tidy !:D

Overrated - avoid and go elsewhere! - Edit
Modern place in a trendy area, the cocktails look fun, but this place is overpriced and overrated! Over €20 for a burger, fries, dip and a beer (though they brought me two beers by accident I think). Fries were cold and hard - I only finished them as I'd paid so much and had planned this as my evening meal, the cheese dip had a skin on it like it had been sitting out. The burger was nothing special. I got the bacon peanut one which didn't seem to have any peanut butter, just a handful of whole peanuts that fell out as I ate it. Beer wasn't very nice, so the free one wasn't a bonus. A shame as would have back if it was better as it was convenient and service was fast. Just don't go! I regret the money and the calories!

High Class Fast Food Restaurant - Edit
This is a fast food restaurant but one with quality and definitely one I wouldn't be afraid of bringing non-vegan friends to. The burger I had was among the Top 3 Vegan burgers I ever had, the salad was maybe even better. Prizes are reasonable. Only downsides for me: music is quite loud and not to my liking (techno like). And just digital ordering. But nothing that would stop me from coming back or that would lead to anything less than 5 stars.

Best alternative to McD & KFC - Edit
The waitresses and waiters greet you at the restaurant and tell you how to order and what we can order. The food comes quickly. We ordered some fries, cocktails, burgers and grilled corn… which were all delicious. It’s funny how you can’t tell it’s vegan until they tell you. Definitely heading there again soon!!

Great addition to the Altstadt - Edit
Been twice now and enjoyed both visits. Today I tried the peanut burger which was okay, but for me it's all about the salads and the sides. The coffee is good and the setting is great and you can feel very comfortable with the relaxed dining vibe. The bill does add up but considering the all vegan menu it's worth it! #Veganuary

Amazing vegan food in the heart of Düsseldorf - Edit
This place is the golden utopia of vegan fast food! We shared a burger, salad, fries AND two drinks and desserts because we just couldn’t get enough of their food. The burger was smoky and succulent. The salad was a symphony of fresh flavours. The fries were crispy and deliciously seasoned. Both desserts (choco donuts and salted caramel and popcorn soft serve ice cream) were a heavenly delight!

The setting is happy and friendly and fun and so are all the staff. Everyone in the restaurant looked happy and like they were having a great time.
In fact, we loved it all so much that we are going back again tomorrow before we leave Düsseldorf.

Hans im Glück is a Restaurant which supports exploitation of animals, it does not even deserved to be named in the same sentence as Hulala when rating the latter mentioned. I never had cold food at Hulala and either you were unlucky or you were hiding pretty well so that the staff didn’t find you🤪
