Squarely in the heart of the market, I couldn’t find this stall for looking. On the verge of giving up, and taking one last look at my maps to try to ascertain its exact location, I realised I was standing right in front of it.
Read moreA robust, stodgy-looking beast of a sandwich, its outward appearance completely belied its true soft, delicate nature - like a boxer with a penchant for flower arranging and soppy poetry. Everything about this pouch of wonderfulness smacked of quality and freshness - bright vegetables, creamy hummus, and high-calibre bread, it was a joy from the first bite to last.
Though it may be the case that there is only one specific vegan option on the prescribed menu, there is a plethora of deli items available from this vendor and the options to customise your own creation would be plentiful.
Objectively quite expensive for such a simple-sounding dish, when compared to the general cost of dining out elsewhere in the city, and given the sheer brilliance of the product, in reality I’d consider it a bargain.

They have a vegan Fladi Option that is really delicious! I already had it several times and it’s always really good!
