The shakshouka was really good and also this other dish that I don’t remember the name of but had many small mounds of different samples of dishes - which was really fresh and tasty.

The food was alright, but we would not choose to return to this restaurant. The ambiance was a little strange, but the staff was friendly and the rooftop was pretty!

Too expensive - Edit
This review concerns the restaurant not the snack rooftop. Because the place regroups a snack, restaurant, rooftop etc.
Read moreRegarding the restaurant:
Nothing to be crazy about.
We paid almost 18€ each to eat as much as you can.
The buffet had loads of veggies (cold) and about only 4 different hot ones were 2 sort of potatoes! One of the hot dish was mushrooms that looked to have been there for days.
Half the buffet was vegan. My only negative point is that there was no alternative such as tofu or seitan or Quorn...
Only vegetables which I love of course but to pay that price for that it's way too much!
Also some of the dishes had way too much spices or sauce which was disturbing.
Would definitely not go back sorry...

Amazing vegan food✨ - Edit
We sat upstairs on the roof terrace with a jug of sangria, I had a vegan plate and my mum has a veggie quiche with salad - both were gorgeous! Then we shared a coconut cake! Such a lovely spot overlooking Cascais!

We ate here 4 times in 3 days. - Edit
That kinda says it all. Their concept is the best of all worlds. They have a buffet with fresh hot and cold items. Portuguese vegetable are a few notches fresher than other parts of the world and in this place you become aware of that. And then, instead of menus, they have seven or eight model entrees for the night. The staff gives you a presentation and description. It’s always changing. For one price you get two entrees (tapas) and unlimited salad bar. As far as I was concerned there was no reason to eat anywhere else in cascais! The staff were very friendly,, and always smiling. The owner is a nice Dutch lady who speaks every language that walks in the door. She is very meticulous and it shows. Some items are not vegan but most are and they will tell you which is which. I wish they would go vegan! But never mind that, this place is top-notch!

Good food but a bit pricey and service slightly unfriendly - Edit
The concept is nice (a visual menu of around 7 dishes which are very salad based) but they are a bit expensive. There are fresh juices and local beers and wine - all €4 each. There was one vegan dessert (it was okay) and 2 veggie ones. Of all the good options only two were vegan (1 pure vegan and the other able to be made vegan). The terrace is really nice. However, the service was a weird mix of overly and then under-attentive, friendly and then aggressive. It was a bit strange. Still - nice option on a Sunday and very fresh and healthy and colourful food. The warm bread was very nice

Good for lunch - Edit
Our family went here a few times for lunch & once for dinner during our week in Cascais. We enjoyed the vegan GF selection. Food was tasty, well spiced & cooked, fresh & not too oily. I wish there was more hummus served. The servings are ridiculously small.
Read moreThe dinner session is a strange set up & ended up being very expensive for very little food, probably better suited for vegetarians. I feel it would be helpful to label buffet food with a V or VG. I wouldn’t return for dinner. Our girls loved the fresh daily juices
Pros: Lots of Vegan GF options, Fresh food, Friendly staff
Cons: Tiny hummus portions, Buffet at dinner, Owner rude

This is an amazing place to eat! Lovely designed interior, great roof top terrace, cozy atmosphere. The staff and the chef is super nice and welcoming. I recommend asking them which dishes are vegan because some of them are also vegetarian. But all of them speak English and are eager to help you!

Nice rooftop - Edit
The staff was very helpful and friendly. The menu has 3-4 choices, or a plate with one of each, which is what we went for. It's true there are plates that aren't vegan, but staff made it clear what each contained, so don't forget to ask before you order. The food was well flavoured, well served, the spinach juice was amazing. A bit pricey but worth the money

Update on January 16th 2019
As it was so good the day before, we decided to take our friends with us but everything changed.
It was overcooked, way too salty and oily.
Quite disappointing for the second time :(
The buffet is confusing what is vegan and what is not (I ended up eating non vegan stuff!)

Really great there! - Edit
We were happy to find a vegetarian restaurant here... and tried to test it.
Read moreWas a blast!
First we got the mixed plate with some different things to try. Was amazingly good and tasty. You have to order the bread seperately, comes with some carrotslices and a dip. Yummie!
Then we went to the buffet. Four different salads, Dachboden them different, lots of spices. Really special and fine. Then there were different kind of warm plates, one better then the other.
It is a big area, for dinner one restaurant, another for breakfast, a rooftop-location should be also there-
we plan to be back tomorrow morning to test the breakfast!

Cold food and expensive - Edit
We arrived at around 7:30 pm and were greeted friendly.
Read moreThe chef’s choice entree plate was quite nice.
However the buffet consisted of six dishes (different steamed vegetables and potato cuts) and three salads (one vegan). All the food was cold to luke warm.
The waitress did not seem to know what they were serving and had to ask for ingredients.
In the end for dessert they had a raw cake (however the fridge was not on so she couldnt serve it as is went mushy) and some other cake that seemed to have been standing out the whole day.
Also we were not even asked if we enjoyed our meal or if we would like another drink, they seemed quite eager to get rid of us..
Pros: Central location
Cons: Food choices, Quality, Waitress
