Very disappointing - Edit
Eaten here for over 10 years but not any more. The food was okay nothing amazing but nice. The owner was exceptionally rude! God forbid you ask a question about the menu !
Read moreReading all the other reviews I find it very odd they all seem to say the same thing but in a different way ???
The service was dreadful ! At least 2 tables had to ask when the food was coming.
Regrettably I’m now an ex customer. There are so many places to eat these days these small business really should be looking after the regulars . Very sad. Very disappointing !

Fabulous find - Edit
The visual menu is a fun idea, you can see all the meals in front of you and pick what to eat out of that. The staff will talk you through what each meal is. Many meals had cheese, but could easily be made vegan on request. Great idea for a farm to table establishment. Food was lovely, we had a toast starter to share, shakshuka (made vegan) and a feta salad, all of it tasted great. Fab change from the usual offerings anywhere else.

Interesting food that I've never had before, great staff with great seating - Edit
Great variety of choices.
Read moreThe menu is always changing. I found this challenging but I overall appreciate the spirit.
The staff were particularly friendly and there's a lot of really interesting places to sit, both indoors and outdoors.
It just feels very authentic and real, y'know?
The owner spoke to us and is such a charming and charismatic woman.
Also: they speak English (◍•ᴗ•◍)
Pros: Colourful food that's well presented , Flavourful , Friendly staff
Cons: Food is very heavy with a high oil content, Low-protien - not many options

A surprising gem - Edit
So unique, no written menu. The food is all on display and the owner answers your questions. We tried the cauliflower herb soup, amazing. I had kind of a layered lasagna type dish that was amazing. My wife had a tower style portobello mushroom topped with other veggies. We shared a mango cheesecake that was superb

Definitely recommend this place! - Edit
This place is so colorful! Not only does the restaurant look colorful, but so does the food. The dishes contain a lot of different vegetables/fruits. The staff is friendly and explain which dishes are vegan or can be made vegan. All dishes looked tasty. I tried a dish based on a pumpkin sauce with noodles, vegetables, chickpeas and black beans. It was delicious! For me the only downside is the visual menu. But the food is delicious, staff is friendly and the vibe is great so really recommend this colorful place!

Visible menu concept was brilliant. Exquisite food. My salad was possibly the best salad I have eaten out. Beautiful location, chill vibes. Cake and coffee just as good.

What a nice place - Edit
It really is a house of wonders. So colorful and cozy. I loved the visual menu and had a bowl with several ingredients. There were a lot of vegetarian plates but they made mine vegan.

This place is indeed the House of Wonders. From the colourful decoration to the menu on display and the rooftop views, being there is a wonderful experience. I had the happiness salad veganised and it was flavourful, colourful and wonderful.

All veggie. Excellent experience - Edit
We called in for brunch. There’s a good selection of dishes. The staff informed me that everything is vegetarian and there are vegan choices. I chose the shakshuka which was excellent - a very rich sauce with a good selection of fresh vegetables (including broccoli, potato, mange touts). Good coffee and a fresh orange, carrot and ginger drink too. My partner chose the yogurt and granola which she said was also delicious.

Lovely find - Edit
I'd saved this in maps to visit, forgot about it, and then randomly stumbled across it when we were walking the streets of Cascais. My partner said 'Trust you to sniff it out'. It's in a lovely location - in a small courtyard off the walking streets. There are three outside areas, two in the courtyard and one on the roof (no shade). I really liked the visual menu and the food was delicious - you can tell it's made with love. We shared a plate with chickpeas, black beans, boiled egg, etc. The highlight was the red pepper sauce on the side. I'd love the recipe.

We were a party of two vegetarians and two meat eaters but everyone loved their food. The menu just being the plates displayed on a table is a really interesting idea and the whole place is painted in bright colours which is lovely. Would 100% recommend

Friendly staff who guided us through the visual menu. It was clearly explained which dishes were vegan and which could be modified to make them vegan.

Amazing! Must try. - Edit
This place has a beautiful atmosphere. The owner really cares. It has been running for 13 years! The menu changes daily and is cooked with love. They have, what they call a visual menu. Such a lovely experience. When you arrive you are shown the food on a big table and a staff member explains what everything is and answers any questions. The food was delicious and home style. ❤️🙏

Pretty but confusing and ok food - Edit
While the visual menu is a nice idea, it is difficult as it's unclear what is vegan and what can be made vegan. They will tell you but it's hard to keep track since it isn't organized around that.
Read moreAs well nothing has a name so you don't really know what something is including what a soup base might be.
The Soba salad was good, the orange noodle soup was a bit too light on flavor and thin. The coconut "pudding" is more a cake and it's a subtle flavor as other sugars don't seem to be added

Quirky place, solid food - Edit
I came here after big storms so was not able to enjoy the terrace, but I did enjoy my meal. I got a macro bowl, which was tasty and satisfying. They have a “visual menu”, which means samples of each dish on offer rather than a written menu. While somewhat charming in its difference, this meant the staff have to explain each dish to each costumer (this performance took place centimeters away from the back of my chair where I was seated), and I wonder if they throw out the samples at the end of the day.

Vegetarian restaurant with vegan options, there is no classical menu but you choose by sample dishes. Colorful interior, very nice staff and the food was tasty! Only thing is that I was wondering if they throw out all the display dishes each day.

The carrot cake was nice - Edit
But I find it weird that all the dishes are there on a table, the fruit looked stale, and the woman behind the table took her time to explain everything to us and when we decided for a piece of cake and a juice she said" you asked me about lunch and you are having cake" well....it's 1130 in the morning and I'm from Spain. Lunch is at 2pm

Vegans, stay away - Edit
We specifically ordered a vegan dish and clearly stated we wanted it to be 100% vegan. However, they sent a cucumber salad with dairy yogurt, which we unknowingly ate half of. This place is unsafe for vegans or those with dairy allergies.

Ugly to see eggs in real menu - Edit
The menu is visible means you see real dishes in a table. I arrived before 12 so were all the breakfasts ones and many with eggs and is disgusting to see real eggs in order to see the menu. Really not vegan friendly that way of showing the menu. But they feel a kind of proud of how nice the dishes look when actually are unethical and disgusting and can not imagine that vegans would feel bad to see. For breakfast they had few vegan options and perhaps for lunch they have more but the fact that they show the non vegan dishes for me is a 2 stars.
