Best Lunch I had in France 😋 - Edit
We were so lucky to get a table in this small, cute restaurant. The food we ordered was amazing! I hope I will be able to go there again before I leave the city in a few days. Everyone was super friendly and we felt welcome and very well taken care of. ❤️

although a bit expensive, it was a nice treat to have the brunch here. there were a bunch of different things included in the dish, all of which were tasty. it felt very fresh and healthy.
Read moreit also included juices, a hot drink, and a dessert. the hot drink i chose and the dessert were not the best, but my friend’s apple crumble was really good. maybe if i hadn’t been so full it would have been better (come hungry!). the juices were both really really good.
there is seating both inside and outside, and we had to wait a bit for a table. we arrived about an hour before closing and had time to finish before. it might be good to reserve before you go!

I didn't eat anything big, but the cakes and sweet snacks were incredibly delicious. I had the "crumble noix" and I think it was the best cake I've ever had in a coffee shop!!! I am absolutely thrilled. The owners are super friendly/ warm hearted and made my visit 100% more enjoyable. Always happy to come back!

Da wir das Café unter der Woche besucht haben, konnten wir den Brunch leider nicht ausprobieren. Trotzdem hat uns das Frühstück gut geschmeckt und die Preise sind günstig, für das was man bekommt. Zum Abschluss gab es einen Mandel-Schoko-Cookie, der super lecker war und den ich sehr empfehlen kann.

Hätten wir einen längeren Aufenthalt gehabt, dann wären wir aber auf jeden Fall für den Brunch oder ein Mittagessen wieder gekommen.

We chilled at Hodoba for a few hours while waiting to leave for the airport, and ordered some food and drinks over the course of our stay.
Read moreWe got two coffees, two tarts, and a tofu scramble which looked glorious. It tasted good, but not as good as it looked. no discredit to them, but I have had better tofu scrambles. In saying this it still hit the spot.
The tarts were delicious, I was a big fan of the poached pear one which had hints of cherry flavour. Yum.
The latte I got was somehow one of the closest I’ve gotten to Melbourne coffee, although they only had one type of milk which seems to be very common in Europe - in this case it was almond milk which unfortunately is not my favourite.
Hodoba definitely gets extra points for being one of the few fully vegan places in Marseille, this happycowist is very great full.

Nous y avons mangé deux fois en une semaine pendant nos vacances à Marseille tellement la cuisine et le service y sont excellents 🥰 impossible d’être déçus, tout est fait maison et avec amour et ça se ressent ! 😋 On comprend leur si bonne note rien qu’en entrant dans le restaurant avec les desserts exposés.

I can really recommend anything, we had two delicious meals. They were with plenty of different ingredientes and creative. First I thought it's a café, but they have 6 meals as well. The service was just sooo nice. They also have homemade desserts.

Absolutely adorable spot close to the Panier. We just got drinks, which were great- but the people in front of us encouraged us to stay because they had such a good meal. They weren’t even vegetarian, yet they were highly praising this restaurant. Next time I’m in marseille I will for sure have to stop by for a bigger meal.

We arrived 70 min before closing time. Sat down on the terras outside.
Read moreAfter 7 min one of us went in to tell we were outside, and visit the toilet. Sorry, kitchen is closed they said. I sat outside. The waitress asked me if we had presented ourselves or had a reservation. I said one of us went inside to tell we were there.
The waitress send away some new guests but let me stay on the terras.
Then I went in and got told that "Sorry, kitchen closed and there was no or not enough food left. And one reservation was late.
Then, outside again, another couple arrived and got served...
They reserved apparently.
