The best restaurant in the world!! - Edit
There are 4 well-balanced, beautiful dishes on the menu. We tried Le Bol Hododa and Tartine and they were so good that we decided to change our trip plans in Marseille and went back there the next day to try two other dishes. They were also excellent! The restaurant was very cozy and the service was great. Rachel is super friendly and Arthur is such a talented chef! The portions are generous and we left the restaurant full but very healthy kind of fullness that you are filled with good energy. If you’re in Marseille, you must go there!! We also had the baked goods to go and they were amazing too!! The reservation is highly recommended.

Best meal in Marseille - Edit
Came for Sunday Brunch and we were very impressed with the seasonal 'meal deal plate' of incredibly flavourful Aubergine Fatteh, tomato & pepper soup, za'atar fried mushrooms, salad & corn on the cob. They had a fresh apple, tumeric, ginger & lemon juice. The service was wonderful. Highly recommend reserving as they had to turn away about 6 walkins in the hour we were there. Paid €25 each, left stuffed.

We shared the weekend's brunch menu that included a really lovely, delicious meal with lots of different things, a cold and warm beverage of choice and a dessert of choice. It was really tasty and also a good deal! Very friendly staff that is fluent in English and open to answer questions. Cute and beautiful location. We're very happy and can highly recommend it! I would go there again :)

The Hododa was one of the highlights of our trip to Marseille. I had the "Assiette Chich Taouk" and for me it was the best meal of the trip out of three very good restaurants. Very tasty, fresh high-quality food and good portions in a beautiful setting. The host Rachel is very friendly and warm, we felt very comfortable. Unfortunately our vacation is already over, otherwise we would have loved to eat at the Hododa again 💚

Read moreIt was so obvious to us that the owner loves what she does and found her passion in being a host/chef! Such a sweetheart who knows what she does 💕
And the food was perfect, too: We had a delicious bowl with aubergine and cucumber salad, different really creamy sauces and grilled tofu skewers which were crispy on the outside and soft inside. My gluten free bread has been perfectly toasted! It was the perfect combination of fresh and filling food 🤤 The sizes are also quite big.
The homemade almond-milk and coffee-shot in my Chaï Latte was a combination which I haven’t seen/drank in other places before.
Make sure to do a reservation ahead (preferably for a table inside if you want to sit in complete shadow with the heat around 1-2pm).
If we stayed longer we would have definitely be eating there again! (We only couldn’t due to forgetting that they're closed on mondays and tuesdays 🥲)
Next time in Marseille - first thing will be going to Hododa! 🍢🥗💚🌱😋😋😋

I cannot believe how good the food here was not to mention the service! We got advice for other vegan spots to try out and were very lucky to get a table even though we didn’t book. At first I thought €25 for brunch was a lot but it worked out about £21 but the quantity of food and quality was insane! The atmosphere is beautiful and the almond milk is homemade, worth the trip to Marseille for this place alone!

I wished I lived in Marseille so I could go there often 🥰 I went there for a summer lunch: had the 'tartine de saison' acompagnied with a salad, and a caramel-chocolate tarte for dessert. Everything was tasty, well-presented, generous, perfect. I wouldn't change a thing to my experience!

Also the lady who served us, presumably the owner, was very sweet and attentive.

Fantastic experience dining here. They're only open for dinner on Wednesday so I came right at opening time but reservations are recommended. Awesome middle eastern inspired food and very good desserts and pastries as well. Highly recommend and my favourite meal in Marseille!
