Amazing place!

Delicious food, great service. Had the chickpea soup, lasagne, and berry cheesecake. Had to wait about 10 minutes for a table but was well worth it!

Delicious Divine Dinner

Short: Definitely go here!! Long: We had such a delightful dinner here that I am not sure we will go anywhere else in Granada. Yummy food, lots of options, melty cheese, vegan hot-chocolate, dessert, healthy salads, funky spacious atmosphere, and friendly excellent servers.

The zucchini-noodle pesto was INCREDIBLE. Perfectly balanced flavours and beautiful presentation, makes me feel like I am a gourmet food snob (which I'm not, I generally prefer cheap warm delicious slop to fancy-pantsy gourmet food).

Cheesy toast with avocado and tomato were perfect and I had a super-hazelnutty hot chocolate. Our main dishes and desserts were also very good.

Prices are good, portions are medium sized. Servers were kind and efficient and the atmosphere was funky and artsy while managing to stay tasteful, perhaps due to the ample space. They offer vegan cheeses, ice-cream, fake meats, and nut milks for sale.

I normally shun veggie burgers at restaurants as they are usually 'mediocre' to 'ok' at best. However, we saw some go by and they looked delicious so we might be heading back to try them out. Update: we indeed went back for the burgers. Burgers were good, a good size, and just enough fries for us. The orange/tumeric bread was fun but mostly just tasted like bread. Gaspacho was refreshing and fresh.

Highly recommended!

We love Hicuri!

We went here for dinner the first night we arrived in Granada, and what a lovely welcome to the city it was. It was busy and we waited 20 minutes or so for a table, but the staff were really friendly and kept speaking to us so we knew we weren't forgotten. They also sell some vegan milks, cheeses etc so we were occupied looking at those. For our meal we both went for the Hicuri burger, which was completely delicious - the bun was home-made orange bread - surprising and lovely! Then I had rice pudding and my partner had the best vegan cheesecake we've ever tasted. Also had a delicious local beer. We went back for lunch a couple of days later and had wonderful Salmorejo (so nice to be able to try it - it's topped with ham usually but with avocado here) and a stir-fry with tofu tempura. The food was all delicious, the staff charming and attentive, the atmosphere lovely. What more could you ask?

Pros: Very good food, Vegan products to take away (milk etc), Lovely staff

Best burger ever!

We only had little time in Granada so we had to choose which vegan place we would visit, but we were glad we chose this one! We had the burger from menu del dia with cheese and bacon and the cheese was just amazing 😍 exactly like a great burger should be. Very kind staff as well. Wish I could come back!

Pros: Lots to choose from

Super disappointing

This was honestly so bad. The food tasted like airplane food and was luke warm, overpriced and just so average I would have been embarrassed to bring a non vegan here!!
Definitely not worth the trip

Pros: fully vegan , decent service

Cons: bad food, overpriced

Nice lunch menu

Hicuri is a vegan restaurant located in the centric neighbourhood of El Realejo which offers a very nice vegan menu.

The menu is composed of a starter, a main dish and dessert. We ordered a salad, a ratatouillle with a vegan sausage and the almond tiramisu. The salad was fresh and the dressing was adequate, helping the different flavors shine on their own. The ratatouille was very tasty and I liked the sausage very much. The tiramisu was nice but at the same time it reminded me of marzipans, due to the almond like flavor.

I would come back the next time I am in Granada.

Pros: Nice food

good menu and service but food needs some improvement

I liked this place because of the many options and friendly staff. The food was mostly fresh and decent tasting although some is too oily and salty. I recommend the gazpacho and the chocolate ice cream (though a bit on the sweet side). I do not recommend the seitan oriental curry as it is slimy in consistency and not appealing to eat. The restaurant is cleverly located and has long hours.

Perfect !

A most excellent meal for 4 was had today at hicuri vegan restaurant. Staff were pleasant and attentive despite the place being full and busy, we hadn't booked and only had to wait a few minutes for a table. Menu is in Spanish and English which helped. Good choices for my non vegan family members who enjoyed all choices made. Glad I planned ahead to find this jewel in Granada on a short first visit to the city. A

lots of great choices

I was here a few times and was never disappointed with the food, although it varied from just good to excellent. Once you have been here once, you will understand why this place is so popular and it can be quite crowded. When it's busy, it does take a while before they will serve you, not just the food but also for drinks and to bring you the bill. One or two additional staff members could help in making everything go a bit smoother. I definitely want to go back here to try all options I haven't tried yet!

lots of options, friendly service

Ate lunch here (during summer months they close at 4:30). Wonderful cold melon soup. Brown rice and grilled veggies with tofu was delish. My dining companion got the cheese burger which he enjoyed. The wait staff was helpful and cheerful. Popular place! Lots of locals. There was a wait for a table as we left. Go here if you are in Granada.

Pretty average for an all-vegan place...

I went to Hicuri for Dinner and got the last table; there were a lot of people visiting this restaurant. It took the waiters a while to notice me (which was okay given how busy it was) but also when they came they were not overly helpful answering my questions concerning the menu (whether the dishes come with a side salad and so on...).

I got the spinach croquettes which were okay but nothing spectacular. They came with some salad with fresh sprouts, which was a plus and a very garlicky mayonnaise. I was thinking about getting a burger but luckily saw their little shop first, where they sold the patties which they use in their dishes as well: They are just ordinary bought vegan meat replacement patties, nothing selfmade. This might be great for some but it is not really my idea of a vegan restaurant, especially given that their prices are at the higher end of the spectrum of vegan friendly restaurants in Granada.

All in all this is still an okay place but I was not impressed.

Pros: Fully vegan

Cons: Lots of convenience products used

A delicious meal with good portions. The menu had numerous offerings to choose from. Staff was very friendly. Customer vibe was young and hip but also older and hip.

We arrived shortly after dinner opening and the seating filled up quickly thereafter.
