Yummy vegan food - Edit
We had a great vegan lunch here. Very artsy place with painted murals on the walls and fun decor. Friendly and welcoming staff. The organic fresh juices were the best and most fresh we had on our two week trip in Spain. The burgers are delicious. And the chips that come with the burgers- amazing especially with the garlic mayonnaise sauce. Also had the carrot cake which was very unique but delicious. So glad we found this place!

Pleasantly surprised! - Edit
Came here with my non-vegan mother and we were both really happy with what we ordered. I had the lasagne - was delicious with great texture. She had the ‘chicken’ burger - she usually hates meat substitutes but thoroughly enjoyed her meal. The Chips and garlic mayo that came with the burger were perfect. Two mains two tinto de veranos came to €23. Great value for a thoroughly enjoyed meal. Restaurant was spacious (not crowded like lots of vegan places tend to be) and staff very friendly.

Hicuri-ish - Edit
Has a range of options and is decent value. However, the food quality was only ok and the Spanish-style options were limited.

Great atmosphere and good food! - Edit
We had a great experience at Hicuri! The staff were extremely friendly and our waiter spoke to me solely in Spanish when I told him I wanted to practice. :) The restaurant was colorful, cozy, and packed with people who seemed like locals/regulars. The menu of the day is €13.80 for an appetizer for the table, a first course, a second course, dessert, and a drink. They have a really good salmorejo and veggie soup. The ratatouille and seitan curry were both yummy. As for dessert, I would recommend either the chocolate cake or the carrot cake (but expect it to be very different/unique). Don’t get the tiramisu. The food isn’t super creative overall but it is tasty and made with love.

Great find - Edit
We were told that this is the only vegan restaurant in Granada and to make reservations but it was unnecessary at 8:30 pm even during a holiday week in May. The food was good with a reasonable number of choices. Inexpensive.

good music and cheap food - Edit
We really liked this place. its charming and alternative, plays really nice music, offers a lot of different food (I had the ratatouille that was good, my friend had the lasagna that tastes even better) and smoothies and desserts (i had the cheese cake that was BOMB and the hicuri smoothie was amazing as well). It's pretty cheap (for vegan food) and the staff was nice as well :)

Absolutely first class! - Edit
The best meal of a 9-day trip - and there was plenty of competition! Hicuri's menu is varied and has lots of choice. We both went for the "Hicuri burger", and both it and the accompanying fries and garlic mayonnaise dip were excellent, as were the vegan fruit shakes and desserts. The service was very friendly, and efficient but without giving us any sense of being rushed, despite the fact that the restaurant was really busy. Decor is lively! The prices are surprisingly low given the quality of the food. Downsides: only one - it's shut on Sundays!

Nice place with good food - Edit
We went there twice and tried two different soups (salmorejo - Andalucian tomato soup with bread - and the vegetable soup), the lasagne and the classic burger. All was good, but we would probably not order the burger again because you can get better veganburgers elsewhere. The salmorejo, which we had never had before, was very tasty so if you want to have a typical Andalucian dish, try that.
Read moreWhen we came for lunch the first time, the place was full and we had to come back hald an hour later and then still wait fifteen more minutes until we get a table. So if you know in advance that and when you want to go here, it's not a bad idea to reserve a table beforehand.
Pros: tasty food, friendly staff
Cons: not always free tables without reservation

I found this place by accident when I came down from the Alhambra (bus to 'centro' stops very nearby). It is actually very close to the Cathedral/nearby plaza, so if you were purposefully looking for it you would find it quite easily.

Not for me - Edit
If you need to substitute cheese and meat by vegan options this is the right place for you. A lot of burgers, vegan cheese, vegan sausages... Not eco at all. I prefer real vegan restaurants with more healthful options.

Delicious, healthy, tasty, interesting, nutritious, beautifully presented - top marks to this fabulous restaurant. The service was friendly and helpful, especially given our lack of Spanish. They even made a dish of perfect grilled vegies for me that wasn't on the menu. They also make delicious healthy juices and smoothies. Highly recommended.

Colourful wall murals provide the decor to this restaurant. Lots of background chatter from families and groups add to the friendly atmosphere. The meal we had was their dish of the day menu: 3 courses with coffee and wine for €13.90 . Best value for excellent food.

Creative Vegan Menu - Edit
I've visited vegan restaurants in multiple countries, including the best of New York, London, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Zurich. Despite being a little place in Granada, Spain, Hicuri ranks among the best. It features a menu that is quite unique. Spain loves pork, and I'm not a fan of "mock" attempts of recreating meat, but Hicuri knows its local market. The root-based "bacon" on my delicious veggie burger, which was nestled into a very well balanced turmeric-ginger bun, was a delicious enhancement. I'm an old vegan, and "artsy, fun, and vibrant" when it comes to a nice vegetarian restaurant isn't really my priority, but Hicuri would fit that description. My carnivore wife (who loved the food) and I were the oldest people there. I was already stuffed with their wonderful food, but couldn't resist tiramisu. Good choice. Delicious.
