Very mediocre - Edit
We started with smoothies, the gazpacho. They were 5/5, amazing.
Read moreBut the mains (Cordon Bleu, Lasagne and Pad Thai) were really not good. Pad Thai was quite sweet, the Cordon Bleu was barely edible, the vegan cheese and Seiten that they used were just not good (though I have to say that the sides, so the sliced potatoes and veggies as well as the mushroom sauce were very good).
Especially the lasagna was really disappointing. The pomodoro sauce was very mediocre and it was drenched in a white bechamel-like sauce that did not taste good. The added vegan cheese was also not good.
The Ambiente was very nice though, so was the staff and the prices were also good. Really a shame the food was not up to par.

Don't miss out! - Edit
We had our eyes on Hicuri since day one in Granada, and we finally made it on our last day – our only regret is not going sooner!
Read moreThe food was absolutely delicious, packed with flavour and clearly made with care. The service was warm, attentive, and impressively fast. Prices were very reasonable for the quality you get.
Whether you're plant-based or not, we wholeheartedly recommend Hicuri to anyone looking for a memorable and satisfying meal in Granada. Don't miss it!
Pros: They keep their beer glasses in the freezer, Fresh ingredients

Very Good Vegan Only Restaurant - Edit
We arrived without a reservation but they still were able to take us. We had the Gazpacho Soup for starters and for mains we had the Heuro Ajilla and the Cordon Blue. All were delicious and the portions were large. Nice ambiance. Good service and pricing.

Disappointing at best - Edit
We were a party of 4 and we order spaghetti Bolognese, Pad Thai noodles, burger, lasagna and Heura al ajillo.
Read moreHeura al Ajillo had a weird taste, was heura "chicken" and a brown sauce. We ended up not eating it.
The burger was mediocre, nothing to notice about it, easy to forget
Lasagna was ok-ish.
The Pad Thai was good.
The spaghetti Bolognese, oh boi, was the worst, it felt like they choose the cheapest pasta and the cheapest of cheapest tomato sauce. We ended up not eating it.
I do not know why it has so many good reviews, maybe just the existence of a vegan restaurant is good enough for some to give it 5*

Hicuri - Edit
Otra liga. Sin duda, más que recomendable.

We had a very pleasent time at Hicuri. Very recommendable. We had a very warm welcome and got the menu of the day explained. The menu has a big variety of choice in different cuisines. I had the Hicuri Burger & my husband the Tikki Masala, with salad and Tiramisu as dessert. Both dishes were freshly cooked, special in their own way and very tasty and delicious, each one of them.

An okay food - Edit
We had a lasagna and a burger and to be honest, both options were a bit tasteless. Not enough spices or veggies in them, too much of meat substitutes.

Good vegan food in the heart of Granada - Edit
Good food. We ordered three dishes. A salad, a seitan tikka rice and a bolognese pasta.
Read moreAs per the servers the ingredients were all made by them in house. The seitan tikka rice was well made and not too spicy.
The bolognese sauce was made out of tofu. The sauce was well made and was well cooked.
Will recommend this place to try in Granada.

Had a fantastic lunch here. Food is high quality and menu has many options. Highly recommend the menu del día which comes with a free olives plate, first plate, second plate, drink and you can add a dessert for 1€.

Definitely slightly expensive (menu del día is 15€) but would happily go again as the food is excellent.
Would recommend adding the dessert! Tiramisu was yum!

Vegan cordon bleu - Edit
Wanted to try this place since seeing reviews. Was very busy but only wanted a table for 1, waited around 15 minutes. Ordered cordon bleu, was given olives and carrots and dip to start (love the dip! Waitress gave me more for my main which I appreciated)
Read moreI enjoyed the dinner but felt it lacked a little in flavour. The seitan itself didn't taste of much without the sauce. After a while I felt bored eating it. But it was good to try something new. I didn't order anything else as I was full ☺️
Pros: The dip with the olives and carrots
Cons: Needed some more flavour?

Small cafe with delicious food - Edit
Since my last visit in 2014, they seem to have added fake meat products, which is a shame, but I guess they have to appeal to the masses. However, there are still plenty of choices to be had without these.
Read moreI opted for the menu del dia at 15€. I started with a delicious chickpea soup, then pisto con patatas a lo pobre (ratatouille with sliced potatoes). All delicious. I added a dessert for another 1€, an almond tiramisu. Again, delicious and something that I would not bother to make at home.
The only sad thing is that this is the last day of my holiday and the only opportunity to eat here.
Pros: Plenty of choice, Delicious food , Reasonable prices
