Awesome food, great atmosphere - Edit
All you can eat vegan buffet with amazingly tasty, fresh and abundant food. Best lasagna I’ve ever had! Absolute vegan heaven. We were lucky enough to find a table but it’s recommended to make reservations. Very busy, buzzy but relaxed atmosphere.

Incredible vegan buffet - Edit
I've been to Herman's many times and will come back many times again. The buffet is great and they always have new dishes. It does what it does really well. The location is also superb with a beautiful view over the water to gamla stan and Gröna Lund.

Fantastic location, food, staff. Wide variety, the carnists I ate with tried to pull the "oh, how I miss my steak", but sincerely, they didn't.

The view is incredible, but so is the food. You pay a set price, for your plate and can go to the buffet as much or as little as you want. Drinks and desserts cost extra, but I think it’s really good value for your money. The 2 of us ended up paying around 500 SEK and it was worth every single krona.

Read moreNice concept with an all-you-can eat buffet with diverse salads, soup of the day, warm savoury dishes, bread, herb butter, hummus etc. For SEK 198 you can eat until you are stuffed. If you are not a big eater, this feels a bit expensive.
Also there are scrumptious desserts which cost extra and good lemonades.
At nice weather take a seat in the garden! The view over the harbour and old town is unique and makes this restaurant really special.

Very tasty food. I recommend just going wild on the different sallads and the hummus! You can sit inside or out in the very nice garden.

Love the concept of this restaurant - all you can eat, 100% vegan buffet. The views and environment are amazing, looking out over the harbour with plenty of greenery surrounding the seating area.
Read moreFood was really tasty, variety of hot and cold dishes. The lasagna and pizza were our favourites. Wanted to try their other hot dishes but got too full. Sampled a bit of their cashew cheese which was incredible too!
Only slight downer was the price - 198SEK per person for the buffet, so our dinner for two totalled 512SEK with a beer each. We're from Australia so that's about 80 bucks - which seemed dear even for Stockholm. If you're a big eater you would get your money's worth, personally I was stuffed after just one plate.

Wonderful Vegan All-you-can-eat Buffet! - Edit
Very eclectic selection of dishes. We especially liked the Thai curry, kimchi, lasagna, grilled zuchinni, herb-infused garlic, vegan butter, pesto pasta, and roasted beets & potatoes. We also loved the rich chocolate cake and the rhubarb pie. The view was beautiful and the atmosphere relaxing. There is lots of seating outdoors, so make sure to go down the stairs and check out the patio, which has a wonderful view and a few hammocks. Kid-friendly as well; there are different price categories for children, under 4 eat for free and 5-15 eat at a reduced price. Water, herbal teas and coffee is included in the price of the buffet, other drinks such as sodas and beer are extra. A must if you're in Stockholm!

I had been researching the best vegan restaurants in Stockholm as I usually do when I visit a place and decided on Herman's by chance on my last day. So so glad I went. The variety and choice is lovely and very tasty dishes. Some ingredients are obtained from a nearby farm. Fresh salads including mexican, kimchi (yum), potato salad, chickpea salad, pesto pasta salad...and mains included Thai green curry, Dal (on of my favourites) and by far the best vegan lasagne I have tasted. Bbq veg outside. Coffee and tea (incl approx 12 different herbal teas) included. Lots of desert choices too. The sitting area is gorgeous overlooking the sea and city. Hammocks outside. A must visit.

High quality buffet with the best view in town - Edit
I’ve eaten at a lot of vegan buffets and sometimes the food all runs together and starts to taste the same. Not so here. Each dish was of pretty high quality and very tasty. Even if the food wasn’t as good as it is, the view would be worth it- panoramic from the charming terraces built into the side of the hill. Magical.

The buffet offers tons of varied food that will satisfy everyones demands. Hugely popular place with a lot of seating and a fantasic view. Good price but the dessert was not included which was a bummer. The checkout was a bit too crowded, and the system for buying the food was not clear enough.

Wonderful food, nice staff, and a very nice environment. Instead of a proper menu, they only serve a buffet for 200 SEK, which is a reasonable price, but I would have appreciated if they also had some smaller meals to choose from.

This place was a huge bummer. They would not extend the “salad bar only” price to me. Even though I could not eat most of the things there. The manager was very inflexible. If you don’t care about what you eat, you can go. But if you are careful about ingredients and keep a clean diet, stay away.

Wir haben direkt einen Platz gefunden. Das Buffet ist reichhaltig und vielseitig 😍 Tee und Kaffee direkt enthalten und immer nachfüllbar so oft ihr möchtet. Grill wird unter Umständen auch angeschürt, dann gehört das gleich mit dazu. Meine Favoriten: Tomaten-Margarine, Lasagne und der Linseneintopf. Lasst es euch schmecken.

Great fresh buffet, good price too. Only ‘bad’ part was the grilled options (just available on the weekends and summer, I think) which some were undercooked and not very appealing. // Genkal buffet frescl, tmbién buen precio. Lo único ‘malo’ fueron las opciones a la parrilla (sólo disponibles los fines de semana y en verano, diria) ya que algunas estaban crudas y no muy apetecibles.

Exceptional quality for a buffet. Everything is fresh and nothing looked or tasted old or spoiled. Being that we are not typically fans of buffets this one was spot on. Everything tasted exceptional, several flavors and spices. You'll definitely want to separate the portions a bit so that you experience each dish on its own. We highly recommend the lasagna!
Atmosphere
Very vibrant with a big mix of locals and tourists. There are plenty of spaces for privacy and if you sit outside you get the luxury of beautiful views overlooking Stockholm's harbor.
Service
This is pretty much self serve but the hosts are gracious and willing to answer any questions you have.
Price
$$ - very good considering the amount of food you can get. Coffee is included with price if meal. Student discounts offered.
