The location is another level. And the food was FANTASTIC - authentic when required, tasty and great variety. Service was awesome with friendly and helpful staff. We had the buffet and filled up on that so I CANNOT wait to try the deserts next time.

Fabulous all vegan buffet - Edit
This vegan all you can eat buffet places offers great value - 140 Krona at lunch-time and 265 Krona (including a barbecue) in the evening. There is a really decent range of delicious salads, hot dishes (lasagne, chilli, etc) and (slightly dodgy) coffee or tea all included in the price. The restaurant is in a beautiful setting and it is definitely worth booking as it gets really busy at all times of the day and week.

When we visited Hermans the first time (evening), they were running two buffets - one inside, and a barbecue with tofu, sausages, and veg outside. All you can eat for 265 Krona, including coffee or tea. Drinks and desserts are extra, but you can help yourself to tap water. We returned for lunch, which is just 140 Krona, but no barbecue.
Read moreThe food is “old school” in a really good way - wholesome, flavoursome and plenty of it! The lasagna and spanakopita, in particular, were delicious - I overindulged in both! Lots of great salads, homemade bread with herby butter, dahl, chilli and more!
What’s more, Hermans is situated on a hilltop, overlooking Gamla Stan (the Old Town) and Djurgården, with beautiful watery views. If the weather is good, you can take advantage of the garden terraces.
There’s lots of seating, but I would recommend booking, as the restaurant was packed on both of our visits, and this was during the summer holidays when many locals head out of the city.
An added bonus - if you find yourself with a pocket full of cash you can’t use - they accept both cash and card payments!
Highly recommended!!!

Amazing buffet, all vegan. Delicious range of food, it was on the pricy side but totally worth it for range of food and you can have multiple plates so I saved money on other meals for the day.

I’m not generally into buffets, but this one was with the trip. We had lasagna, rice, lentil dal, bread, tapenade, etc- and everything was delicious! We were told everything was vegan and they even had really good looking sweets. It was also amazing how much seating they had- we found a lovely table with a view outside. Overall the meal wasn’t cheap (220SEK/person), but it was worth it for the good food and atmosphere.

Read moreAll food is 100% vegan and is Swedish smorgasbord style - so you can eat as much as you like. At 198SEK including endless herbal tea and coffee it's actually really quite reasonable given the city its in.
The food was absolutely delicious and it's hard not to hugely overindulge! On a summers day it is also a beautiful setting - however I probably would not want to go when it was peak time as it would get very crowded around the buffet.

Nice restaurant close to the Fotografiska museum. They have quite big menu. 189SEK you pay for one plate, and you can put there whatever you want, tea is also in this price, but if you want something cold, you have to pay extra. Lasagne was really great. Stuff speak English.

This place has everything. Friendly staff, delicious food, buffé all you can eat, reasonable prices and unbeatable view. I recommend to go there for lunch buffé which costs 138 SEK instead of 198 SEK for the dinner buffé.

This is now my third trip to Stockholm, and my 5th time at Herman’s and it did not disappoint at all. Since we first visited in 2006, Herman’s has gone entirely vegan without sacrificing any of the taste. Affordable, great food and a fantastic view—what more could you want.
