High quality food and service while being such a fantastic initiative to support those who work there. They are completely plastic free, use only reusable straws and hand towels. Loved the small fan in the restroom 😂 it was much needed during the heatwave!

Beautiful restaurant, delicious food for a great cause - Edit
There were several vegan options. I chose the Zuri Gschnetzlets with the vegan option (default is vegetarian but you can request vegan). It was one of the best meals I've had since becoming vegan. I loved it soucy I came back again the next night with my omnivore family member and I ordered the same dish. The creamy sauce with the tofu is divine, and the potato Rosti is a real treat. The second time around I elected to not finish my entire entree to save room for dessert. I ordered the vegan carrot cake with passion fruit sorbet. I loved them both. I am carrot cake connoisseur so that is high praise indeed. This restaurant helps train underprivileged Cambodian adults for restaurant jobs, so it's a great cause to support. The garden setting is absolutely gorgeous. Do try to make reservations, but if you forget you can message the restaurant on Whatsapp and see if they can fit you in; we were accommodated both nights. I will make a beeline for this place the next time I am in Siem Reap.

Title says it all really!
Read moreThe concept of the restaurant is really brilliant - training up young, disadvantaged people and supporting them to find a career. I immediately loved this whole element of the restaurant.
We were looked after extremely well from the moment we stepped in - all of the staff were incredibly friendly, sweet and knowledgeable about veganism which put us at ease!
The food itself was 🤤 delicious 😍
Fresh spring rolls and the crispy corn to start, then I ordered the soba noodles and my partner got the Cambodian tofu dish (the name escapes me!). All of these were flavourful, well presented, and a very decent portion.
Got the carrot cake with ice cream to share which was dreamy. Oh and we also had cocktails which I’d highly recommend.
Overall an easy 10/10. Must go if you’re in Siem Reap!!!
Pros: Fantastic and worthwhile concept, Sweet and attentive staff , Delicious food and cocktails

I’m so glad I could dine here as it was close to my hotel and an easy choice to support a good cause. I enjoyed the verde pasta which came out very quickly and the chocolate sorbet which was very chocolate-y. The owner also stopped by to say a quick hello and I learned that she is vegan as well.

Love the concept of this restaurant - training young people interested in the hospitality industry and they’re doing a great job. Staff were all so lovely
Read moreWe went to Haven twice.
The first time I got the pesto pasta and vegan amok with tofu - wow!!! It was amazing so tasty and perfect portion sizes. My non vegan partner got the mango fish which looked lovely too
We then went back for breakfast and I got the vegan nom banh chok - noodles with a coconut curry. One of my favourite dishes I had in Cambodia. My partner got the vegan pancakes and he wasn’t a big fan
And the carrot cake with passion fruit sorbet was life changing, my new favourite dessert
The price is great, we spent roughly £8 on breakfast and £20 on dinner with an alcoholic drink. There’s soooo many vegan options I felt spoilt for choice
The atmosphere was also lovely, they’ve created a little peaceful ‘haven’ in the middle of Siem Reap! Cant wait to visit again

UPDATE JUNE 2021 Haven is still as amazing as ever and they've just added a new breakfast menu which feature vegan options including nom banh chok which is a classic Khmer breakfast dish. check out the menu and pictures we’ve just uploaded 😊
Read moreLove this place, it's a real treat to go there and eat some of the best vegan food in town. The staff are super friendly and have a great understanding of veganism, the restaurant itself is beautifully designed so it's a wonderful place to eat and of course the fact that you can help local people train to get better skills is a bonus.
You won't find palm oil here, or plastic straws, these guys take sustainability seriously.
But the total star of the show is the food... particularly the rosti with creamy tofu and mushrooms. It's a Vegetarian dish normally but for vegans they can switch the cream for coconut cream and it's delicious.
The Khmer curries are also fabulous- I'd order them more often but I just can't get enough of the rosti. Served with a great sour tamarind sauce on the side which goes really well with the rich creamy coconut curry (full of tofu and veg).
They also have the most delicious vegan carrot cake full of cinnamon, fresh ginger and Kampot pepper, served with passion fruit sorbet. It was wonderfully moist and the portion size was generous. Instantly in love with it!
They were happy to make us a tofu satay (not in the menu) for starters - the satay sauce heaped over a stack of fried tofu fingers was excellent. Lovely crunchy peanut texture, a little chilli heat too... so much flavour!
Don't miss this place in Siem Reap (be sure to book because they get busy!)
