Best vegan on ormeau road - Edit
I love this café! My partner and I go often and every time has been great- both the service and food! We usually get pancakes or Harry's full soda- the eggy sauce is amazing. Would also recommend getting treats from the glass case to take home ☺️🥞🍰

Yo, the staff may have had SpLDs / learning disabilities or the like. So I don't think there's an attitude problem there.

I’m impressed! - Edit
Really lovely cafe with great values and great food. I had the pancakes and they were very fluffy and very sweet. Very generous portion too. The rest of the menu and cakes looked great, so am a little sad I’m too full to try them!

Brilliant cafe, highly recommended - Edit
We arrived on Sunday afternoon and straight away were shown a list of items out of stock, which was really useful. I had an amazing Chunna Toastie and Matcha Latte. My partners had the Full Soda, sadly eggy sauce was out of stock but they enjoyed it with garlic mayo instead. We bought lots of cakes to enjoy later. Great friendly vegan cafe - a must visit 💚

Must try when in Belfast! - Edit
Wonderful cafe with very friendly personnel. We ordered the Harry’s Full Soda and were blown away. The “eggy” sauce on and with it was so good! Our dog was offered a vegan puppuccino which she loved. After that we had the tea cake, and the taste was just beautiful.

Wow! - Edit
The first thing I noticed was how professional, welcoming, and efficient the staff was. I owned a restaurant for 7 years, and this is exactly what I would want from my staff, and is so not the experience I typically have when entering a cafe. It was delightful, and before I knew it, I was greeted, seated, and had an amazing vegan menu to choose from. Was I dreaming? No, I was just in my happy place. The food is fantastic. I had the The Original Baguette-Eggy tofu topped with spring onions and chives, Bob the Belfast-hash browns, sausage, and Ballymaine Relish, Shantay You Sleigh-seitan, sage & onion stuffing, with mayo and cranberry sauce, assorted amazing pastries (which are all made by one incredibly talented woman!)-lemon bar, kitchen sink cookie, and an absolutely scrumptious broccoli and “chicken” pie. I wish I had more time or I would have tried more. And the mission here is the best part: Harry's Place is a centre that hosts a range of facilities and services to empower those with a Learning Disability, socially, creatively, economically and sustainably, in a safe and encouraging environment within the local community.

Great to be able to support this fantastic little cafe. We visited for lunch ordering a quiche tartlet, the biscoff, banana pancake stack, the holy macaroni and a shantay you sleigh wrap.
Read moreThe quiche and the wrap were delicious, and I loved the homemade seitan, whilst the pancakes were fluffy and very flavoursome. The holy macaroni was just a little too soft and bland for my liking though.
We also bought some takeaway savoury and sweet treats for our flight home, with the cornish pasty, biscoff traybake and carrot cake cookie all excellent.

Make Harry's your place for Social justice AND Amazing plant based food! - Edit
Love it, love it, love it! Great food, everything was fresh and tasty and filling. I got the Beyond and three of our party got the farls, the Beyond was very good but I'm still dreaming of the taste of amazing breakfast farl that I didn't order, it was that good! We also tried the smoothies and the milkshake (!) and we got delicious desserts to eat at home later. I love the social justice values of Harry's. The staff were great, the decor was cosy and comfy, the food was outstanding. I highly recommend a visit. 💕

I had heard great things about here and it was the only definite thing on my list to do on my trip to Belfast. I love the community initiative and spirit behind it as well. Really enjoyed my breakfast here. Will definitely return if I'm in the area.

Such a special place - Edit
I am so so glad I made the effort to walk 30mins with my kids to visit this place. What an absolutely incredible, welcoming vegan cafe. I love their whole ethos and how inclusive they are. All the staff were so kind, lovely and attentive. It's such a lovely place to be.
Read moreThe food was all delicious, big portions and very reasonable prices. I definitely over ordered but was happy to take home my leftovers. My non vegan partner said the vegan tofu mayo sandwich would have fooled him into thinking it was egg had I not told him. We also bought cakes to take home with us all and they were all delicious. My four year old is always so excited when she gets to choose from ALL the cakes because everything is vegan.
I would 100% recommend this place to anyone. Vegan or not you'll enjoy it and be supporting a great cause too.
Pros: Ethos, Affordable, Big portions

Cutest cafe in town! - Edit
One of the few fully plant based spots in town, and it's waaay better than the traditional ones! The things they make are quite simple but super tasty. There's plenty of choice of all genres, and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. I'll be coming back for sure to try all the menu!

I Could Have Stayed All Day - Edit
A little way out of the city centre, but my god it’s worth the trip! As soon as I walked in I was already in quandary as what to to choose, there were so many amazing sweet and savoury treats on offer.
Read moreI finally narrowed it down to a korma pie, a Mamma G burger and a raspberry & white chocolate scone (with jam and butter!). The former two items were best I’ve had of each in a long time and the latter was the best I’ve ever had full stop.
On top of all this, the prices were more than responsible, the staff were delightful and the cafe is doing it’s bit for the community. Deserves more than five stars and I will certainly endeavour to get here every time I’m in the city. The ONLY slight downside is there’s no Wi-Fi, but then again, it allows you to be off your phone and concentrate on the food!
UPDATE: Finally returned after a year of yearning and it was potentially even better!

Best place in all of Northern Ireland - Edit
Harry's is just so good on multiple levels: The menu is varied and creative with fun names for the meals, it's the most affordable of all the places I went to (with decent serving sizes too), there is a large number of amazing cakes, cookies, pies, slices etc to choose from (again, found nowhere else in the city), the food is super tasty, and they employ people with learning disabilities and/or autism. Harry's is just wonderful on so many levels and you feel it when you're there. I wish there was a Harry's in every country.

The best 😍❤️ - Edit
“Inclusive” and “accessible” are but adjectives whose real meaning has been ripped off by the hype. That’s what I thought before stepping into Harry’s door. I was ready to feel abused once more with the trivialization and monetizing of “abnormal” human experiences… but you won’t get any of that at Harry’s. It’s a nice place, genuine to the core, with real people and real smiles and no bullshit… The staff, so incredibly kind and empathetic! And the food, of course…Everything I tried was outrageously delicious. I have been cooking plant based food professionally all my life and I swear their pastries are among the best I’ve ever had. Also, as a vegan tourist in Ireland, I was so happy to finally be able to taste soda bread, as I really couldn’t find a plant based version of it anywhere. What a treat!
