Vegan restaurant, opened summer 2013. Has a living-kitchen concept with a daily changing menu and various desserts. Previously at Lappenbergsallee, opened at new address from May 2017. Close to U3 Feldstraße.
Note May 2020: open for takeaway and outdoor dining, see Facebook page for weekly hours. Open Tue-Fri 12:00-22:00, Sat 11:00-22:00, Sun 11:00-17:00.
Kitchen closes between 4-6pm.

Simple but gourmet - Edit
I had a double potato salad (with normal and sweet ones) and a quiche. Both was perfect, homemade style, healthy but tasty aswell. The ambient in the place is very calm, which makes the meal very enjoyable. I did not tried any dessert but later I did regret it as I did not see such a good cakes in any place in Hamburg!

Fresh and friendly place for a small snack or a big dinner. Plates are generous and products are of high quality. The dishes have a nice mix of healthy greens and seitan/tofu or bean patties. They have a nice breakfast/lunch menu for something lighter and in the evening they serve burgers and buergerbowls. Personally I prefer the bowls as they are fully loaded with fresh salad such as carrot, cabbage, lettuce, tomato, potato and amazing sauces! They also have a lovely cake selection with banana bread, cheesecake and other. All food is prepared in house. They don’t serve alcohol which I consider a plus for this environment. You can’t reserve a table her and sometimes it gets quite full, but I never had to wait long and it is always worth it anyway! I love to come back again and again whenever I visit Hamburg.

Really delicous, we had burger for dinner, combined with salad and tortilla chips (with vegan cheese dip), on saturday we came back for breakfast and had sandwiches, they were very fresh with lots of salad on it. What was written on the daily-meal-board also sounded very good, wish I come back someday!

Enjoyed my meal so much! There seems to be a trend of vegan burgers here (perhaps I shouldn’t be surprised!), but the HappenPappen salad was amazing. The mushrooms were amazing, and it was such a joy to have a huge salad of fresh veggies while traveling. Several of the burgers feature seitan, which is not my favorite, but there are several without. I’d come back for more!

Das Essen war jedoch sehr lecker und der Preis war okay.
Fürs Essen würde ich wieder her kommen, die unpersönliche Bedienung hält mich jedoch davon ab.

There are some good vegan restaurants and cafes in Hamburg, but this is my favorite. Try the cakes! Try the burgers in the evening! And try the tonka lemonade.

I went to this restaurant/café two days in a row. Their lunch menu changes on the daily and it always includes delicious vegan food! Their smoothies and hot drinks and cakes they offer are very tasty as well. The only issue I have wih this place is, that it’s way too busy around lunch time. Around lunch time it gets really crowded and noisy then so it’s hard to find a spot to sit down and eat and it’s even harder to keep up a conversation with several people then...
