Ok, the brussel sprouts side was excellent but I’m afraid the burger and club sandwich that we tried just weren’t that great. Worth coming to if you crave a vegan burger but The restaurant is probably 3x more expensive than other options in CDMX

What a great little burger place! We had the brussels sprouts, which were delicious. We also had the pesto, chicken ciabatta, and the barbecue bacon burger… Both were fantastic! Highly recommend!

Their milkshake brought us to the yard - Edit
Pit stop on our way to the Kahlo Museum. Needed something to keep up our strength 😁 - the Oreo milkshake fit the bill in the most delicious way. Would recommend.

Muy rico todo, buen tiempo de espera por los alimentos, la mesera aunque cumplió con su función pudo ser un poco mas amable. Insisten en encarecer los productos plant based cuando la materia prima no lo es, por eso la gente se asusta también.

Lemon pie shake! - Edit
The lemon pie shake was amazing and had pieces of pie in it! We also ordered a Caesar salad (very good), brussel sprouts, and battered olives (okay, but I wouldn't recommend them. They were just the regular small green olives stuffed with red pepper).

Ya había probado goys en otra sucursal, pero aquí me termine de enamorar está bello y que todo el menú sea plant based, amplia variedad en el menú desde sus hamburguesas hasta las ensaladas, y las malteadas siempre son lo mejor la de pay de limón fuera de este mundo, me pedí con club sandwich y delicioso, probé un chocolatin y las capas del hojaldre 😻😻

Incredible all vegan restaurant! We had the breakfast sandwich one morning (beyond burger patty paired with a must try “egg” on a croissant) which was sooo good and really different. Came back for lunch and had their “chicken” tenders and Cesar salad, also great. Well worth the visit.

Had the Bacon BBQ burger with sweet potato fries. Very tasty with a lovely bbq sauce. Would have been nice to have a bit of lettuce and tomato. Fries were hot and nice. A nice treat.

Temperaturas, sabores, texturas y raciones combinados a la perfección con un menú más que suficiente. !El servicio es genial también y el pan es hecho en casa!

Read moreGreat the place is all vegan, food was fine (I had the crispy ‘chicken’ sliders and tots), service was good, staff were professional and nice, portions (at least for the ‘large’ tator tots) were disappointing, prices high (but probably what you’d expect in this neighborhood).
Overall an okay experience but certainly wouldn’t go out of my way to visit again especially given all the other vegan options in the city (albeit maybe not in this neighborhood).

Stopped by Goy’s Plant-Based Burgers after picking up the marathon bib to continue carbo-loading for the race. Goy’s kept coming up in recommendations as the best vegan burger joint in Guadalajara, maybe even in all of Mexico. While I can’t verify that, as this is the only burger I’ll eat on this trip, I can say I understand why Goy’s ranks so high.
Read moreGoy’s has a minimalist 50’s dinner aesthetic that opens out into a covered patio. On this first trip, had to get their flagship burger, La Goy, which uses Beyond Meat patties. The caramelized onions and the housemade sauce really make this burger. As good as La Goy was, La Poyo was even better, made with NotCo vegan chik’n. The bite on this patty was muy bueno. It wouldn’t be a complete experience without fries and a milkshake. Get ‘em.
Goy’s leans hard on the nostalgia by also offering grilled cheese and tater tots. The menu also has a souped up bacon BBQ burger and poyo chik’n bites. Let me know what you think of Goy’s.
