I got the red red w/fufu + split it w/my partner + it was one of thee best meals we had all year. Hella flavor. The only other time I’ve had fufu was on vacay in New Orleans, so it conjured up good memories too. My partner complained about the stickiness at first but eventually agreed fufu is fun.

I asked what kinda palm oil they use + they said it’s organic. They substitute oyster mushrooms to make other dishes vegan. If you’re not familiar w/West African food bc it’s not common in Seattle, get fufu, banku, or omotuo w/yr main + eat w/yr hands.

Hot tip for takeout! If you order online + struggle to find parking, they advise to pull into the apartment lot next door + call + they’ll run it out to you. If you're dining in, the BoA parking lot is $5 after 6pm.
