I had saraswati house curry, mango lassi and chocolate tart with icecream.
Read moreThe curry was well balanced with a spicy chickpea curry, basmati rice (with a slice of lime to add sourness) and a fresh and creamy raita. The mango lassi topped it off with its sweet, soothing taste.
The chocolate tart was great! It had a great, fudgy consistency with deep chocolate flavour. The mango ice cream was probably made of pure fresh mango.
It was very busy, evening a Monday outside of holiday times. Reservations are recommended.
Pros: Great diversity in dishes, Great food, Great staff
Cons: A bit pricey, Can be crowded

I took the cabbage roll and it was really delicious, a stuffing made out of walnuts, rice and cashew cream with a fresh tomato sauce and mashed potatoes. Definitely worth it

Had a wonderful dinner with my wife at this place. Many different dishes and they all sounded delicious. The pepper steak was really delicate and the Slovenian Plate gave us some insights of traditional dishes.

Dishes seemed mostly prepared in advance, with just a little bit of last minute heat up and prepping. Food came fast. Good choices though, and we enjoyed our meal. Not very refined.

This was a quaint little place. We had the traditional Slovenian 3 course lunch to share which was delicious and included a stew, steak and cake.
Read moreI did find the menu a little confusing, and once I’d worked out the allergens it appeared some things were labelled nuts that didn’t have it in and vice Versa - the Slovenian stew on the menu had nuts listed as an allergen but when we asked (bc it was in the 3 course lunch) they said it doesn’t have. The tarragon cake is the only nut free cake according to the menu but when it came
Out it was covered in nuts. So that is why I have marked this place a 4 instead of a 5. The staff were friendly though and as that was the last tarragon cake, they brought me an ice cream for free and let my partner eat the cake as we were sharing.
Would recommend. The steak was delicious.

Just eaten an excellent lunch here. We had the €16 3 course lunch and it was entirely delicious! Pumpkin soup, barley & smoked tofu risotto or stuffed green pepper, tarragon cake. The courtyard is lovely and the food is beautifully presented. Would happily return.

A nice evening meal eaten here outside. Friendly staff and comfy seating. Shared the starter of ravioli, then a burger for my partner (very good) and the cauliflower steak for me (also delicious). We then shared the chocolate tart dessert.

At Gaudi&Naan they serve traditional Slovenian food and overall classic dishes plus some creative new styles. Everything we had was very delicious and the service was very good and friendly and gave good recommendations.

This was recommended to us by a staff member at the vegan Piccolo Cafe. It was great - they had a 6-course tasting menu that we treated ourselves to. The lady who served us was so friendly and talked us through each course. The food wasn't incredible but it was mostly very tasty, was really interesting to try a range of food including a vegan takeaway on a traditional dish, and the general vibe was just cozy and lovely and we had a brilliant night.

If you are in town and looking for some veganised traditional Slovenian food, put this place on your list! They have stew, dumplings, cabbage rolls, gibanica and the list goes on. Full of flavour and so similar to the real dishes. Highly recommend! Lovely inside and outside sitting area. If I had more time I would go back to try all the different things on the menu.

I wasn’t too hungry, so I opted for the ravioli which was perfect. The filling was a cheezy spinach mix. It was topped with chopped walnuts (I think) on a delicious subtle lemon sauce. Would definitely recommend.

Small and cozy restaurant with a variety of tasty food. The atmosphere was chill, maybe too chill since the waitress spent a lot of time talking to her friends instead of us. I would still recommend it to have some traditional vegan food in slovenia.

The restaurant is a bit hidden - which is great because it’s completely quite. I ordered the stuffed cabbage rolls. They were good but a bit dry for me. I wished the filling would be a bit juicier or the dish would come with more sauce.😄

We had the chance to eat outside but if you want to sit inside make sure to do a reservation.
I ordered the Pepper Steak. It was tasty and filling. The pepper sauce was quite flowery which was great. The Seitan had a good structure and the vegetables were on point.

What a place - highly recommended! - Edit
We had the pad thai and curry. Pad thai was 10/10, and the curry was more of a chickpea curry even though different veg was mentioned in the description, so I'd give it 7/10. Very nice decor, attentive staff and delicious food.
