Bistro chique at its finest - Edit
I cannot recommend this place enough. Every time I go there I leave happy. The food is rich yet surprisingly easy to digest. The service is lovely and attentive. Try the caviar and the truffle raviolo!!! #Veganuary

I must say that the quality of the food felt a bit underwhelming in comparison to what I’m used to. There were less bursts of flavour and the seasoning seemed a bit off in the cacio et peppe. Staff remains the best😄

Pricey but delicious - Edit
Unexpected flavours from traditional vegetable ! I had the tarbais de cassoulet et navet for instance. I usually don't enjoy turnip that much but WOW the smokey flavor really reminded me of the smokey smell of a well grilled meat. It was really enjoyable. Regarding the quantity, they told us 3/pers but we had 3 dishes for 2 and it was enough (we were not that hungry).
Read moreWaiters/waitresses are so nice and friendly.
Regarding the price, i'd rather go there for a special occasion (birthday, fancy date, anniversary, degree celebration, promotion etc...) cause it's really worth it ! I am not often surprised by the flavour of a meal but here I positively was!!! Who would have thought turnip could be that good ?!
Pros: Being impressed by traditional vegetables, Nice waiters/waitresses

Amazing food, but - Edit
The food was excellent, and the price–value ratio was great.
Read moreHowever, we were disappointed that, despite having a reservation, they pushed two small bistro tables together and had to squeeze around.
We ordered the menu for all five people, but the portions were not evenly divisible, which was quite odd—four slices of bread, three cannelloni, and four croquettes.
What bothered us most was that there were no serving utensils provided, so we had to serve ourselves using our used silverware.

Slightly mixed feelings - Edit
A mix between bistro and fine dining, this fully vegan restaurant offers dishes that are more fancy and upscale than the usual vegan grub. We tried several dishes like the broccoli guacamole, the mushroom croquettes and a pasta dish and they were tasty but if I'm honest not exceptional. Maybe my expectations were too high tho? The desserts, the (deconstructed) snickers and the pomme d'amour, were really really nice however. Service was slow but that might have also been because it was very very busy. Make sure to book a table!

Entree & dessert incredible - Edit
This is an excellent restaurant and I would go back. The service was amazing, and it was a treat to have non-alcoholic wine that didn’t taste like apple juice. We had the butter and caviar for entree which were both incredible. Mains - carpaccio, flatbread and potato millefeuille were all good but didn’t blow us away. Dessert however. Wow again! The cookie to share has got to be up there as one of my all time favourite desserts.

Lovely fine dining - Edit
We went here for an evening meal, and I would recommend booking as it gets busy quickly, and you can see why because it's a wonderful restaurant.
Read moreThere are plenty of options and you can tell a lot of thought has gone into the menu. The staff are helpful with recommendations and take the time to talk with you. I'd particularly recommend the carrot dish and pasta. The stuffed vegetables were fine but basically raw pepper, courgette and tomato stuffed with mushroom which felt quite one dimensional (pictured).
We had an enjoyable evening and would go back to try other food on the menu. The snickers dessert is fab!
Pros: Tasty food, Plenty of options, Cosy and sleek atmosphere

Fancy Vegan Food - Edit
If you have a craving for caviar (you fancy human!!) it ends now! I was mind blown, it looked extremely similar and tasted absolutely wonderful. All things considered, Good fancy food, with great atmosphere and service. Pricey for small plates, but arguably worth it. Comparable to Maslow, marginally better, but more expensive.

Delicious and Unique Cuisine - Edit
All 7 of the dishes we enjoyed were exceptionally flavorful. Make sure you call to make a reservation. I thought I had one when I received an online confirmation, but I did not. I think the website is not set up properly for that purpose. Fortunately, they were able to seat us when we arrived at 7:00 on a Tuesday night. It would be nice if they were listed on The Fork or Open Table.

Great food especially the butter - Edit
I had an excellent meal here. The food was all great and the service too. I got croquette, potato millefeuille, a side of butter and a chocolate ganache for dessert.
Read moreThe croquettes had a great crispy coating which had a really good crunch. The filling has a bit of a jelly texture with some bits of meaty texture. The filing didn't particularly wow me but it was a good crunchy bite.
I got the potato millefeuille with a tomato and paprika sauce. The potato was tasty and rich with plenty of butter oozing out when I cut into them. The sauce was a good accompaniment and tasted like it was made with plenty of the butter I ordered and ate earlier. It was also topped with some chimichurri but I didn't feel like there was enough of it for it to really shine through.
I got some butter and it was great. It tasted more like dairy than any other butter I've tried. It had a good bit of smoky and salty seasoning in there. I enjoyed eating all of this with the bread that came with the meal. It was a lot of bread and butter for one person but I was not wasting any of that butter!
The chocolate ganache was great. It was lovely and rich with a great texture. The lime was a nice addition to cut through the richness a bit. The tuille was lovely and thin and crisp.
I got one of the mocktails which was tasty but it didn't feel special enormous GH to be charging 14 euros. They also provided bottles of still and sparkling water with the meal.
It was a good meal that I thoroughly enjoyed and I would happily go back there again.

Their concept is all about sharing: you will choose some dishes and share everything with your companion or group. How many dishes you’ll want largely depends on how much you usually eat. For me and my date, a total of 2 starters and 2 entrees were absolutely filling.

Make a reservation - Edit
This is a lovely and lively restaurant that gets full fast and requires reservations. I was only able to get a second service dinner reservation (9:30pm) with same day notice so if you want to eat early make sure you book early.
Read moreThey do let you wait at the bar for your table if you arrive at the restaurant a few minutes before your reservation. There is a nice gender neutral restroom with a lot of different soaps that smell amazing. It was perfect for washing up before dinner after taking the metro here.
The menu is creative and diverse. I love vegan versions of French food. The flavors have been perfect every time.
For starters I got a mocktail to drink because I don't drink alcohol. It was a really yummy tonic based soda drink.
Then I tried the Not Butter Radish dish.
It came out with some raw and fried radishes that I dipped in the vegan tartar sauce. The crunch, the slight spice, the texture were all really good for the radishes , but the tartar sauce is the overpowering flavor.
My next course I got the barbecue carrots. I really enjoyed the smokey barbecue flavor in the sauce. However I felt hungry still after eating this so I got one more course which was probably too much food.
The last meal I had was the ravioli. It was like a piece of ravioli dough laid on top of shredded celeriac, covered in a delicious sauce, and garnished with capers, croutons, and parsley. This was really filling after all of the other food I ate, but it was definitely comforting and had flavors that made me think of home made soup. It felt upscale and simple at the same time.
For dessert I got the Candy Apple. It is a soft baked apple slice that has been chilled, in the center is a delicious berry jam, on top is a layer of whipped cream that isn't overly sweet. It is garnished with hard apple caramel and a sugar decoration. The delicate sugar decoration is really pleasant to eat. The caramels were hard on my teeth, but were a very pleasant flavor. I enjoyed this dessert so much and I would recommend it to anyone. I was worried the whole thing would be overly sweet, but I found overall it was pleasant and light.
I think the carrots were my favorite, but I would have been hungry without the ravioli. The radishes were good, but I would try something else next time.
It's an expensive restaurant but if you are looking for a small meal to experience with friends this would be perfect. If I was taken here on a date I would be very impressed.

Faubourg Daimant - Edit
A lovely spot for brunch with beautifully presented dishes and a creative menu. The vegan caviar hash brown starter was a pleasant surprise, and the croissant sandwich had great potential, though the sweet pickled vegetables overwhelmed the flavors. My favorite dish was the BBQ carrot—well-balanced and delicious. The pavlova dessert, however, wasn’t something I’d order again. Overall, a good experience with some standout items.
