The best vegan restaurant in Paris - Edit
This was the best vegan restaurant I visited during my 11-day vacation to Paris! The service was fantastic, with English-speaking staff, and the food was absolutely incredible. They went out of their way to accommodate gluten free too. The organic red wine by the glass was phenomenal, and with no sulfites, it did not give me a headache. I will return here every time I visit Paris, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. This is a true gem of Paris!

Best vegan restaurant I have been to - Edit
My husband took me here as part of a birthday trip to Paris. This restaurant was incredible. The service was friendly and attentive. The dishes themselves are small portions, they recommended 2-3 per person so we had 5 between us. Each dish was very different from the others and so flavoursome. We shared a dessert as well. Even my meat eating husband loved the food.

The best vegan restaurant in Paris - Edit
I have had the most delicious dinner at @daimant.co in Paris! What a superb discovery... Set in a 1900 house, not only the food is fantastic and ethical, but the staff is also welcoming and attentive. Unsurprisingly, it was voted one of the best Paris restaurants at Time Out awards 2024.
Read moreHere's what we had:
- Broccoli guacamole (so fresh and delicate!)
- Puy lentil pâté
- Parsnip blanquette with morel mushrooms
- Jerusalem artichoke balls with horseradish mayonnaise (one of my favourite dishes that might)
- Mushroom and smoked tofu croquettes
- Grapefruit and citrus yogurt with puffed rice
- Warm cookie with miso caramel and popcorn cream
They also have a soap bar in the toilets which is quite cool! I've tried orange & cinnamon, and bitter almond.
Pros: The food quality, The friendly and knowledgeable staff, The variety of choices

Very tasty and great atmosphere! - Edit
We really enjoyed our dinner at Faubourg Daimant. It is more on the expensive side but the food is exceptional. You are welcome to share all of the courses - we found that 5-6 desert is good. We also had the best ice tea ever with some magic winter spices. Faubourg Daimant is a very good choice if you want to taste high quality vegan food in Paris.

The morels! ✨🫶 - Edit
Had a delicious dinner and expected the balls bourgoignon to be the star of the show but turns out it was the parsnip blanquette with morels. The wait staff was not very friendly or helpful. If you have any food allergies or intolerances best to use the online menu because the paper one they give you does not indicate gluten free or veg. The mezcal cocktail was spicy good and the Negroni cocktail was tasty.

High end vegan restaurant with a lot of interesting dishes. It’s on the trendy side so you might want to get all glammed up and aloof before you head out there. Food was tasty in the mouth and the wallet. #Veganuary

Went there today for lunch and we were delighted by everything. My personal favorite was the Zucca E Pepe but the flatbread, tête de brocoli, and romaine brûlée were also really nice (and my co-eaters had different rankings).

select your menu items carefully - Edit
The concept of this restaurant is to order multiple small plates to share. Our served suggested 5 plates and this turned out to be too much for us (2 adults). I think with the very generous bread basket (which they refilled) and the craft nonalcoholic drinks, we would have been fine with 3 plates for the entree portion. I also ordered the Snickers desert which tasted delicious. Several of the small plates we ordered turned out to be fried which I wasn't really aware of when ordering. I'm not a fan of fried food so I think I would have been happier with other menu options. There is an avocado/guacamole type dish that is very fresh and healthy tasting but the ravioli (one large ravioli) seemed very oily. So if you don't care for oily/fried foods choose carefully and talk to your server to make sure you understand the options.
Read moreThe service was friendly and attentive. The restaurant does not open for service until 7 pm and as stated before, there is a line outside waiting. They get you in and seated quickly.
Pros: yummy dessert, artisan nonalcoholic drinks
Cons: fried food/oily food

Fashionable but not filling - Edit
My partner and I are regular visitors to Paris and we were delighted to see a new restaurant with aspirations had appeared. Over recent years, the number of vegetarian/vegan restaurants has increased dramatically but mainly at the cheaper, fast-food end of the market. Several of the more ambitious ones have closed.
Read moreWe went on a Wednesday evening in November and the restaurant was absolutely packed, which is rare for any restaurant, let alone one that is exclusively vegan. However, having just entered my eighth decade, I was probably twice as old as anyone else eating there, barring my partner. They offer two sittings, one early, one late.
We were a bit put out that, having booked for 7pm, the restaurant did not open until 7.05, with a long queue waiting to enter. There seemed no good reason for this. However, once we were in, staff were friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was cheerful and lively,
The food was served quickly, despite the large number of customers - in fact, for a serious restaurant, there was a slight feeling of fast-food about the service, perhaps related to the need to remove the first tranche of customers before the later ones arrive. As others have said, the portions are small and I can imagine that many people would find them unsatisfying. I live in France and the UK but, having had vegan meals in the US, I can see that anyone used to that quantity of food would feel short-changed here. It seems to be part of the philosophy of the place- even the bread basket contained only a few thin, small slices of bread for two people. After a starter and a main course, we decided to call it a day, preferring to eat a cake (from Land and Monkeys) at home rather than pay for a spoonful of dessert.
The food itself was well-cooked and tasty although we have encountered more imaginative dishes elsewhere. Overall, we had high expectations and, although nothing was bad, we were disappointed. We would not return but, evidently, lots of people would, and do. Perhaps it is an age thing.
Pros: All vegan, Well-cooked and tasty food, Friendly staff
Cons: Being kept waiting after our booked time, Size of the portions

Beautiful place - Edit
The restaurant itself is very beautiful, with a bar section and a porch.
Read moreFood is a bit expensive as you can expect from such a place, service is great and dishes descriptions are detailed, like every French gastronomic restaurant.
The dishes were good, with different sauces and textures. Portions are not generous. Some of them weren’t well seasoned ( a starter was too salty and the snicker dessert too, for my taste). You expect something perfect moly seasoned for the prices.
Will come back next season when they change their menu and see if they improved

Pros: Beautiful place and lots of seats, Nice staff , Gastronomic food

quality plant-based gastronomy - Edit
Located a stone's throw from the Grand Rex, rue du Faubourg Poissonnières, this 100% plant-based gastronomic brand offers more than 80 seats.
Read moreThis is now the restaurant with the most indoor seating in Paris.
The 1930s decor is beautiful, even the toilet switches are from the period.
Everything is very neat and the tables are well set.
The products are fresh and seasonal and it shows.
The card offers:
- Plates to share with house specialties, fine dishes loaded with starchy foods or delicate dishes loaded with vegetables.
- There are additional accompaniments such as a light mash or paella rice.
- Four desserts are offered, snickers, “Danette” chocolate cream, a poached pear, and a popcorn brioche.
Wine and cocktails are also on the menu.
The place is really very pleasant and you can see that the recipes have been worked on.
The fact that the dishes are to be shared and that a single dish cannot be enough for one person is something to be aware of.
The price is in my opinion a little too high for some dishes.
I was able to taste a number of dishes, and my favorite was the dauphine potatoes with caviar.
I had a little problem with the poached pear which was not cooked enough, and the staff replaced it with the lost brioche (light corn cream, popcorn, miso caramel, crispy shards of honeycom). I am not disappointed with this dessert.
In short, a magnificent place, with very beautiful decoration, and original dishes to share, perfect for an evening with friends to discover quality plant-based gastronomy.
Pros: Décoration, Quality of plates, number of seats
Cons: a little bit expensive for a few plates, not enough light on evening

Too expensive and not filling - Edit
Pros: Some nice flavours
Cons: Too expensive , Very small portions

Good for couples, not for business - Edit
This is an upscale setting with equally upscale food. However the concept doesn’t quite seem right: the server recommends each person order 2-3 items and to share them.
Read moreIf going as a couple this is fine. But I was in a group and the items are not all easily shareable and the prices are high when adding up two or three plates together. Plus we spent most of the night talking about passing plates. And until we asked, there were no serving utensils or personal plates.
So if you are a couple and don’t mind eating off the same plate, this isn’t a problem. But for groups and/or a dinner with a person you aren’t ready to germ share with, this isn’t ideal. Lol
This review is based on only a few weeks in operation so they may very well evolve. I hope so.
Food and service were excellent, it’s just the idea of sharing plates that doesn’t work for me. I love tapas bars so I’m not antisocial, but this was fine dining and just kind of awkward.
Pros: Beautiful delicious food, Great service, Upscale ambiance
Cons: Weird sharing concept
