99% vegan, recommendable - Edit
Cozy location in a side street of Mires. Outdoor seating in the shade. Friendly owner, easy communication. We ignored the esoteric devotionalia though.

We chose the falafel burger and falafel bowl to overcome starvation from hiking. The burger was huge, lots of fresh produce on it, falafel patty super spicy with good texture, same the falafel balls in the bowl with beetroot hummus.
The burger sauce was a tahini mustard mix that I'll definitely experiment with at home.
We fancied dessert initially but were too stuffed in the end.

Falafell Out - Edit
The Falafelaki Roll included six falafel, humus, tomato, cucumber, cabbage, onion, parsley, and tahini in an Arabic pita. A lot of it fell out the bottom into the bag, but I enjoyed it otherwise. The Chocolate Cake was like fudge with nuts.

Liegt in einer kleinen Passage/Gehweg von der Hauptstraße entfernt. Selbstbedienung. Man sitzt sehr nett unter einem Baum. Die Falafel Roll war sehr sehr lecker. Das vegane Eis war ok.

Literally the best falafel - Edit
After a long hike up Rouvas gorge, we went here for lunch. It really was so good, fresh and super flavoursome falafels in a nice wrap. And cheap!

We had the falafel roll and the aubergine roll. Both is tasty, but we more liked the aubergine roll. It’s a kind of sweet-umami taste we hadn’t before in a falafel-imbiss.

Also try the juice for 3€, we had one with Kaktus, which was nice.

Visited the place in the summer of 2019, first season. I have to say I was totally amazed by the taste and the quality of the food and the price was ok! If you go to Matala, please please please stop by and try it!!

The falafels are prepared fresh. The food is very tasty and the owners very friendly. If you are vegan and looking for something in Matala I would suggest try this. Ten proces are also very reasonable. Unfortunately we were so hungry and the pita wrap was so great we did get any pictures😉
