Cosy vegan cafe - Edit
Shared two different toasties, and they were both tasty. Would definitely want to try their lunch at some point.

Nice Little Cafe - Edit
Cute little cafe with friendly staff and some nice music in the background.
Read moreThe smoothie I ordered was great but the overnight oats were pretty underwhelming. They were nice enough but the serving was very small.
There are also some vegan snacks and treats available to buy.
Pros: Cosy little cafe, Good music , Nice smoothie

A bit disappointed - Edit
The place and the staff are lovely, but I was disappointed with the breakfast. The orange juice wasn’t good (came from a bad quality juice box), the slices of bread with toppings were barely ok, the croissant was just ok. The price went 2€ up so 10€ was way too much for that.

Loved it - Edit
Very lovely service and delicious food. The blueberry smoothie was the best I’ve ever had. Salads were fresh and tasty. Also I loved the atmosphere, the cozy interior was designed with beautiful art. I will definitely visit this lovely little cafe again. Recommend!

Lovely place - Edit
I paid two visits to Encanto during my brief stay in Helsinki during the month of July 2022. At that time, they had only been open for a few months. By December--the time of this review, I was amazed to see how much their business had grown, most notably, to include the addition of live music, along with art exhibitions.
Read moreI remember having the Vegan Pepperoni Toast, and the Green Salad with Vöner filling. I could tell that there was meticulous attention in preparing the food and to it's overall appearance. And the prices were quite reasonable, considering that it is Helsinki, where everything tends to lean on the expensive side.
I feel like it's worth mentioning that if you walk in with certain expectations, which may lead to pointing out things such as, the place is too small, not enough food, etc., then you're missing the point entirely. It is what it is, and therefore, not at all pretentious, which is to be admired. And what you will gain is the friendliness of the staff, the charm of the surroundings, and knowing that you are helping to build not only the vegan community, but also the local music and art scene as well.
I have no criticisms about Encanto, and I predict that they will be around for a long time to come.

Son and I loved it! - Edit
Had the vegan pepperoni toast and fresh home made pulla both 10/10 in our opinion. We shared the toast and with pulla it was big enough lunch for us. Definitely going back again!

Cosy café, but small portions - Edit
I visited for breakfast. The menu was not very extensive, but 4 items for 10 euros were a fair deal. Coffee was good, so was fresh orange juice. Croissant was good, too (specially the cheese, which tasted like real camembert, omg!) and the "daily specialty" (some dill spread on rye bread) was the best item of them all. However, the portion was very small, so I paid for an extra cinnamon bun (3 euros - pretty expensive), which unfortunately was very hard and dry and I did not like it.

Lovely café - Edit
I had the breakfast and chose the overnight oats, croissant with jam and vegan cheese, and the cinnamon bun. It was really delicious. I also had an iced latte, their coffee was good. All of it only cost 11€ (choose 4 for 10€, extra 1€ if you want a different coffee)! I will definitely come here again.

Nice place - Edit
We had breakfast here. Nice stuffs. The toast with PB and smoked cheese wasn’t so tasty, I would recommend more veggies. Also overnights oat.. more fruit. The hot cinnamon rolls and croissant were really yummy, also coffee. 👌🏼

Summerday's sanctuary - Edit
A cute little café not far from the city's cathedral. Apparently also enjoyed by the locals both quadru- and bipedal (not only humans as photo proves).
Read moreWent there just for a short visit for coffee and cinnamon buns, both enjoyable and tasty for a reasonable price. With a fresh cooling breeze coming from the bay on a hot summer day (yes, they got them too in Finland, lately) we couldn't ask for a more refreshing stop.
Pros: Welcoming and polite staff, Cozy atmosphere, Walking distance from the city centre
