Originally founded in York in 1997, El Piano specializes in vegan and gluten-free tapas and meals. Find choices like couscous, ensalada, baked tofu, fritters, vegan burger patties, pincho de tortilla, and others. Dishes vary from day to day and is displayed in the glass deli case. Simple, cozy and delicious - Edit
It's a small cozy restaurant, with superfriendly people. Got lots of ginger products (love it!) Had the medley of fried stuff, the onion quiche and a carrot cake, tasty! We could sit inside in July 2021, that was very comfy and cool at noon!

Finally Vegan versions of Spanish classics - Edit
It is a cute simple place for decent fair. the brown Dahl was amazing. I also really enjoyed the quiche.

El interior es muy bonito, tienen música suave de fondo y la encargada es muy amable. Los platos puedes verlos pues están en una vitrina y también tienen una crema y un arroz del día.

Wir sprechen kein Spanisch und baten die Dame einfach etwas zusammen zustellen. Sie hat uns 8 verschiedene typisch spanische Gerichte gezaubert die wir uns teilen konnten und es war...wie im Himmel😄Besonders gut fanden wir, dass vieles ohne Zucker war und alle Gerichte ohne Gluten. Die Dame war sehr sehr freundlich und man fühlte sich im el Piano sehr wohl.

La dueña es espectacularmente amable y atenta. Como en la mayoría de bares, te ofrecen caña y tapa, en este caso por 2€. La tapa no se puede escoger, pero aún así, estaba buenísimo todo. Cuenta con la peculiaridad de tener un piano operativo en el interior; tuvimos el privilegio de cenar escuchando a un señor tocar música magníficamente bien. Sin duda volvería.

Excellent homemade vegan food made by the very friendly owner. Food is delicious yet cheap and there are plenty of options to choose from. You are free to play the piano at your leisure. We tried the Dahl and the chilli, both of which were washed down with organic cider. Highly recommended.

The menu is bilingual, there is a menu of the day, choice of individual portions, sets to share, "platos combinados", etc. My partner and I chose the menu of the day (11€)and together tried quiche, soup of the day, chili and rice noodles. Everything was good and filling, but noodles were a bit oily for me and the chili could have used some cilantro, but still tasty! The friendly waitress offered me to have a herbal tea because I did not really like the drink choices included in the daily menu, very kind. We added a half portion of "albondigas" to start with before the food came and it all ended up being so much food! Won't go hungry there. Albondigas were awesome, very homemade taste to them, nothing like popular meat-like Heura vegan meatballs.
Read moreAfter our meal was over at 3pm, the pianist showed up and started playing, it was so lovely we couldnt leave so we ordered cowboy coffee, which is a wonderful coffee set for 2 pax. I wish I had more time in Granada to go again, for a 3pm meal!
