Originally founded in York in 1997, El Piano specializes in vegan and gluten-free tapas and meals. Find choices like couscous, ensalada, baked tofu, fritters, vegan burger patties, pincho de tortilla, and others. Dishes vary from day to day and is displayed in the glass deli case. Lovely and very friendly restaurant with an array of tasty looking dishes - it was hard to choose. The gazpacho was excellent and I also really enjoyed the meatballs. Open on Sunday too 👍

A very nice restaurant, a bit pricier but not over the top. The Melanzani Bangkok were especially good, so were the sweet corn balls. I highly discourage from the croquettes with the vegan cheese, very bad.

Lots of delicious vegan options. We had the menu del día which proved to have a variety of scrumptious dishes. However the single dish from the menu del día was tasty but massive and might have benefited from the addition of a bit of salad or some bread. The waitress was very helpful too.

Lugar acogedor, atenta camarera y comida fresca y variada. Aunque los precios son algo elevados, tiene menú del día sin postre, que incluye dos platos y bebida, por 14 €. Todo vegano y sin gluten, croquetas incluidas. Sirven rápido porqué la comida está lista tras una vitrina y puedes verla antes de comerla. Usan cerámica granadina, lo que es de agradecer. Disponen de varios tipos de zumos frescos, vinos, cervezas (con y sin gluten), refrescos ecológicos y kombuchas. También, variedad de infusiones. Por las tardes, dan conciertos de piano. #Veganuary

Their chili is an inspiration. We ordered the variety sampling dish (including desserts) for two, which was a delightful experience. Fancier restaurant ambience exists elsewhere, but the culinary experience here exceeded other vegan spots in Granada.

Although the food was satisfactory, we've had more memorable vegan meals elsewhere.

Yo como *muchisimo* y sudé para acabarme una racion de crema de puerros y media de albondigas. Por lo que yo comí pueden, por tanto, comer 2 personas perfectamente.
La atención es maravillosa y la atmosfera acogedora.

Most of the food is pre-prepared, in a deli counter style. I got the eggplant and caramelized onion quiche. Both were decently tasty but overly sweet, especially the quiche (which I wasn't expecting at all).
Read moreThe dishes are quite expensive (often over 10 euros for a half-portion) compared to other restaurants in the area. We were also charged 0.60 euros for a glass of tap water, which I found strange as usually tap water is free at restaurants in Spain.
Service is friendly and efficient.

They have many dishes on display so you choose what you want.

The first one corresponds to 2 dishes, and the latter one to four.
I had the full portion which came with a tortilla, a paella, a dahl and smoked aubergines.
Everything was delicious, but it was a bit too much food for me.
It would be perfect if they had a 3/4 portion. :D
In any case, the staff was helpful and friendly although there was just one person taking care of everything. Certainly a restaurant to try!
