Good but a little underwhelming

We had high expectations for this place after reading all the glowing reviews. We had the meaty mushroom bowl, the tempeh bowl and the bounty dessert. It is true that the food tasted great but we found that they put very little of the main component in the bowls the rest was just a pot of dressing and some relatively normal salad. The bounty bar was lovely, which we would have expected for the price. Okay meal but there are better options to be found nearby.

AMAZING 😍

First vegan place I went to in Koh Phangan and the food was delicious! I had the kebab burger with melty cheese and homemade chips, and then finally had the banoffee pie after staring at the fridge for ages trying to decide what mouth drooling desert to have first! 💚 Staff are very friendly, service was quick, nice ambience... Overall great place to go 👌

Pros: 100% vegan

5 starts no doubt

Take any non-vegan to this place and proof them that plantbased food can be extremely tasty! I just came her for the first time and didn't know what to order because I want to try everything! Good for me they offer dishes with samples of everything.
The food I had was absolutely delicious and I can't wait to try out more.
People complaining about the price don't know the value of real food.

nice place, tasty food

Very nice place, with friendly staff. It is a relaxing restaurant were it's possible to eat delicious vegan dishes and also excellent cakes. Everything is vegan here.

In particular I most appreciate the mushroom-meat burger and the tempeh ...and also the sweety mango cheesecake.

Pros: all is vegan, nice atmosphere

Cons: nothing to me

Meaty Mushrooms and Kombucha Heaven

Nice little place just off the road in Sri Thanu.
I started with the Beetroot Burger, which was tasty and satisfying, served with a crunchy, excellent salad. In addition, I chose meaty mushrooms, which were out of this world. Also, the vegan cream cheese with dipping vegetables was a pleasant surprise. Tangy dip with extra crunchy and fresh veggies.
Second visit, I had the BBQ Mushroom burger and it was excellent, along with the raw Snickers which was average.
Menu includes smoothies, fresh juices, teas and infusions. Best kombucha I have ever had, flavored with orange.
You order at the counter, but they bring it to your table. Staff is excellent and welcoming. The seating is comfortable cushions on the floor or outside on chairs. Ambiance is nice with a chill vibe and books to read while you relax.

Pros: Fresh vegan food, Comfortable, relaxed atmosphere., Varied menu, many choices

Cons: Order at the counter, On busy street

It’s perfection!

I absolutely fell in love with this place. The ambiance, people, comfortable seating and great service make it a place to be in Sritanu. The food is just out of this world, seriously anything you choose is amazing, you can tell that someone with passion and love for vegan food put a lot of thought and energy into it. Menu will take you around the world with so many options for vegan comfort food, like ramen, dhal or mashed potatoes. I loved their kebab, meaty mushrooms and the Burmese tea leaf salad, which is really addictive. Their kombucha is yummy and strong and they have a fridge full of delicious looking desserts. The server girl was really cool and other guests were great too. You could spend there hours without even realizing, it is a real sanctuary. Everything feels right about this place.

Pros: everything

Cons: none at all

Divine vegan food in a beautiful atmosphere

Eat.co is one of my absolute favorite restaurants on the whole island and I've been eating there almost every single day during my 1 month stay. The variety of dishes is incredible, whatever you're craving (burgers, soups, buddha bowls, salads, desserts, vegan kebab, marinated tempeh, falafel, smoothies, platters, etc.) you will find it here!
My absolute favorite dishes are the vegan ramen soup (filled with all the goodies, 'meaty' mushrooms, tempeh), vegan kebab (on brown rice instead of the pita), the burmese salad (legit the best thing EVER), homemade kombucha, and the mushroom burger! They also have amazing desserts that change daily. If they happen to have it on that day, try the mango millet cheesecake or the coffee oreo cheesecake and thank me later! :-)

The atmosphere in this lovely place is very relaxed, there's always interesting people around and it's the perfect place to do a chilled lunch/afternoon working session while indulging in their goodness!

A huge pro of the place is that they are eco-conscious and use reusable straws, bamboo plates etc, plus you can fill up your water bottles with fresh ice cold drinking water!

I've heard that from January 2018 they will also open for breakfast, so I can't wait to try out their new menu! :-)

Up there with the greats

I only ever came here once, but wow was it something else! I can't remember what I ordered, but it basically resembled a Halal Snack Pack using meaty mushrooms and pita bread. Phenomenal! Followed this up with their divine banana/choc/coconut shake. Be wary, that shake is tough to finish!

Pros: Well-presented, knockout food, Easygoing vibes, Thoughtful menu with something to please everyone

Cons: None

delicious and quirky

I had already eaten at another vegan restaurant but only had one night. So I went here and tried the meaty mushrooms. Oh my god are they amazing. I can’t wait to go back and have them in a burger. I also tried a desert. I am allergic to cashews which makes vegan deserts hard but they had a chocolate caramel thing that was cashew free and amazing.

Pros: friendly service, great food

Cons: I was already full so couldn’t eat more

Holy Meaty Mushrooms Batman

Get the thali platter. Get the burger sliders. And enjoy food heaven! The tzatziki was one of the best dips I have ever eaten (including pre-vegan). Now. The meaty mushrooms. This was an experience in itself- THEY WERE AMAZING!!!

The vibe here was just great, they have an attached small shop with clothing, accessories, food and skin care stuff too.

Truly a a great place to relax and vibe out.

Perfect birthday dinner

We came here on my boyfriends birthday as this place was recommended to us by a fellow traveler. We went for the best seller, the thali plate, which has a lot of small food samples including teriyaki tempeh, meaty mushrooms, dahl, salad, pita bread, a few dips and cake. Every single dish was super tasty and very flavorful. LOVED the meaty mushrooms with tzaziki. The waitress put a candle (which I brought with me) on the cake so my boyfriend could blow out a candle on his birthday! :D I also took the cappuccino caramel cheesecake home which was one of the best cakes I've had.
We came back today (Sunday) for brunch but it was closed and it doesn't open until 5pm, so the opening times here are not 100% correct.

We will definitely come back tonight though, as this was the best vegan food we've had in Koh Phangan!

Pros: Amazing food , Reasonably priced for the quality of food , Friendly staff

Good

Small vegan place , good food like lentil soup even if a little bit spicy , the mushrooms, cakes and the falafel meze plate . Salads are ok but all the same flavour . A little bit pricey like all the vegan place in Phangan

great food - not the greatest service

We loved the food but we had very standoff-ish service. Usually going in to a very healthy restaurant we experience upbeat vibes and meet cool people however it was pretty disappointing.

Delicious and healthy

Absolutely loved this cute little café! The portions were filling and the food is healthy, but not the cheapest. My omni boyfriend said the kebab was the best vegan imitation dish he's ever had, and that really means something! I had the rice and beans with hummus and pita bread, so good.

Pros: Comfy atmosphere , Delicious food , Quick service

Cons: A bit pricey if you're on a budget

INCREDIBLE

This place is absolutely incredible.
Where to begin. The space is super lovely, great chill yogi vibe with a little shop and meditation cushions to sit on.
The food is to die for. The naked sliders, beetroot burger, hummus (do not miss), and the carrot cake are all amazing.
This is seriously a great find in the middle of Koh Phangan's yogi community.
(Careful though, some lady stole my sandals there!)

Pros: delicious, great staff, great vibe

Best in Phangan so far

Really good pita "burgers"! We had beetroot and tempeh "chicken" pitas, they were delicious! The incense smell was really strong, so we had to sit outside. But that was just fine!

Meh

Atmosphere:
There is just too much going on, paintings, books, clothes, cosmetics, food all in one place. The sitting is extremely uncomfortable. It was far to dark in the room , i couldn't see what I'm eating.
Menu:
Menu is very short, not much to choose from. The day we arrived there weren't any day specials.
Food:
I ordered The Dhal of the day with brown rice and salad. It was ok , except for the huge chunks of black pepper in it that was overpowering the flavour. Salad was nothing special.
All in all it was not impressive and far to expensive for what you get. Not worth another visit.

Pros: Quick service

Cons: Far too Expensive, Too much stuff in one small room, Small menu

yum!

The food here is delicious! We had the kebab (amazing) and the beet root burger (also great) and came back the next day for breakfast, which, again, was great. the plus of the breakfast was i had the feeling you got more food for what you paid for than for dinner. I wanted to try the tempeh teriyaki but there seemed to be a tempeh shortage across the whole island while i was visiting, as none of the tempeh dishes anywhere were available?

anyway, a little pricy but the food is delicious. for my favorite food on koh phangan I'd say it's a toss up between this place and orion.

Pros: delicious food

Cons: a bit expensive

So good!

Really good with fresh vegetables and fabulous vegan options.

The Iskander Kebab with fresh salad, pita bread and fake meat was a real treat. The Vietnamese Pho soup came with a bunch of lovely fresh veg and herbs that you threw into it like a proper traditional dish from the region.

The shakes and juices were nice but could of been colder. The chocolate and vanilla vegan cheese cake came with some chocolate sauce and was really tasty.

The only thing is it was really hot outdoor restaurant that had one fan in the corner and we were sweating while we ate. The place could do with some more fans.

Pros: great vegan options, delicious food, fresh tasting

Cons: atmosphere could be better for the price, hot outdoor eatery that needs more fans
