Meh

The food was tasty but the portions were very small. There were way less options then listed here and they were constantly pushing us to buy drinks. They were constantly staring at us, which was very unsettling.

Generosity and lots of food

Even though there was a four-person limit in order for them to offer their special xmas set menu, Eat East were kind enough to accept three adults and a kid, the last of whom being free of charge. Two of the mains were marked with three chilis and so we thought they could be too spicy, so we told staff to take it down a notch. Some of the dishes weren't much of an explosion of flavours, and so, in hindsight, it might have been our fault due to said request.
Be it as it may, we liked all of the items of this pleasantly mushroom-heavy menu but found the noodles to be a bit bland (where was the chili oil?), while the sichuan BBQ proved to be the tastiest. Despite being a Saturday evening, the dishes were served at a rapid pace, so make sure you tell them to slow down if you'd rather take your time.
Staff were not only understanding with respect to the kid in our company and his antics towards the end, but also generous, since he was given both noodles and a full dessert.. at no extra cost!
Now I'll just wait for Eat East to step up their vegan fare for lunch, while I count the days until the next xmas special comes round.

Not that good

When I was here the above description was incorrect, menu was not marked, the vegan option was much more limited. It was just a big disappointment.

I asked for help with vegan option and went with Vegan Mapo Dofu and it was a misstake, there was no Mala spiece at all, the tofu just tasted of oil and nothing else.

Big disapointement and waste of money

Pros: Helpful personel

Cons: Bad taste, Unclear menu, Expensive
