So delicious and innovative - Edit
Amazing food with so many clever flavours and textures. We loved the non-alcoholic drink options including the heaps normal beer. The konjac was so good! Will definitely be back soon.

The food was amazing! 😍Their offerings were so unique and the flavour profiles were a 10/10. The owner was so kind and even gave us a free dessert to sample!! We tried the crispy zucchini Don bun, the don and the zucchini fritti. I am excited to go back and try more of the menu!

We found the Don - Edit
Epic. Typically I opt for gf but if there was a time to let loose and embrace the deliciousness it’s Don Fred’s. They do do gf focaccia but I went for the mushroom special, the conjac calamari, and a rocket and beyond one. All excellent, and enjoyed with a sunny outlook at a window seat. I can’t wait to come back here. Service great, décor authentic.

Delicious vegan focaccia - Edit
We had the Polpetz and the fable meat & potato focaccias which were both excellent. The lemon & mint granita was so zingy and delicious. Service was very quick and friendly. Will definitely be back.

Don Fred’s past hospitality experience (Gigi’s, Gardeners Lodge, Fred’s sandwich Marrickville) is so evident here. Flavours on point. Fit out a slice of Italy. Service swift and professional. A must visit and return many times over.

Came here for lunch and ordered the summer lunch special and glad I did as it was a lot bigger than I anticipated. It was delicious. I was torn between this and the fable special. A lot of good options for sure and great service. Would definitely recommend a visit
