Lacking Substance - Edit
I think I was expecting more from the Joy Division theme than the standard Ian Curtis mural and some track-named cocktails...like maybe playing some Joy Divison? Food wise, the portions are really big and lots of vegan options, but I couldn't see many people eating (it is mainly a bar) and our food was pretty cold when it arrived. The music was really loud, so not a place for chatting.
Read morePros: Bacon Jam vegan smash is delicious , Good range of vegan cocktails , Large portions
Cons: More of a bar for drinking than eating, Good music, but not Joy Division and too loud , Menu not as expected. This is a burger bar

So much choice! - Edit
Every burger on the menu except one can be made vegan. I got the katsu chicken burger with Tokyo fries (fries with seaweed and other flavours). It was super tasty. The chicken was a mushroom though - I was expecting seitan just a heads up for people. The smash burger was delicious too and I loved that they have vegan foamer for the cocktails instead of egg white.

Weirdly good food - Edit
This place takes a different take on Japanese Izakaya dining style. This includes an international fusion of foods in a snacking and drinking setting. In the photo there is a sweet potato bahn mi and enamame hummus. Both were amazing dishes. It is definitely not like something I’ve ever had before.

Small plates, but very tasty - Edit
I had the smoked cauliflower tostada and a mushroom bulgogi skewer. Both were excellent. Others who I went with had Ahi watermelon tostada and the pineapple and gochujang tofu skewer which were also very good.
