Best vegan pizza - Edit
My partner and I were visiting Manchester and just wanted something comforting after a long drive.
Read moreWe're both familiar with purezza from Brighton and Camden, so thought we'd go somewhere we knew was going to be amazing.
As with the other purezza's, this doesnt disappoint! The dough is amazing, the variety is great and its super filling.

Happy it exists, disappointed in quality - Edit
I like the idea of this place, being fully vegan must be a challenge. However thought overall flavor of foods disappointing but I'm glad that Manchester has this option for my vegan friends.
Read moreThe break down:
Pesto bought in not made in house. But mixed with home made mayo. The mayo has a sharpness and is pleasant overall. 7/10
Chilli oil bought in, literally no flavor and hardly any spice. I picked up and tasted the oil on the table next to me to see if it was just something wrong with the oil on my table, there was no difference in taste. I asked the waitress what the base oil was, and they said they didn't know and that "it comes from a packet"... 😬?? Pretty sure it is VEGETABLE oil with some chili powder 0/10
Mac and cheese watery not strong cheese flavor but understanable, the panchetta and truffle does give it some flavor 6/10
The Parimangana Pizza's Marianna sauce very nice. 8/10
Texture of base very good, however slight burnt on the one edge which could not be eaten. 7/10
Aubergine prices ... 5/10
Overall pizza is 6/10
For a fresh pizza I expect much much more.
3/5

A bit disappointing - Edit
I was really looking forward to eating here having read the reviews. My pizza was overdone/burnt and my partner was under the impression that the kimchi on her pizza would come separate after we asked but it didn’t and that ruined her experience too. The staff appeared to be quite blunt and a bit rushed. We didn’t really feel welcomed or comfortable. Maybe I just hit on a bad day but my overall experience wasn’t what I was expecting.

Pizza! - Edit
Edit: Most recent pics from my second visit. My sister (meat eater) loved it and wants to go back next time we're in Manchester.
Read moreHad this pistachio pesto pizza - the cheese was crazy good. They had no mortadella left and made a couple of suggestions for replacement - told I wasn't bothered and they could decide for me. Think it was a pancetta type of thing in the end. Good vibes, decent service, nice cocktails. I really think you could take a carnivore here and they'd be quite happy.

Superb! - Edit
This is the fourth branch of Purezza we've been to (we even went to the London Camden one on our wedding day!) and as always the pizzas were excellent!
Read moreThis time we went for a Black Truffle pizza and a Pistachio pizza with a Truffle Dough Dipper. Both pizzas were delicious! The dough was soft, light and delicious and the toppings were so good. The Black Truffle had a strong truffle flavour and the Pistachio was lovely and rich and creamy. The Truffle Dough Dipper also came in a nice big pot and was very tasty to have with the pizza crusts.
If you love pizza please visit Purezza, you will not be disappointed!
Pros: Delicious pizza, Creative and interesting menu, Menu changes regularly

Fabulous pizzas! - Edit
We went on Sunday 22nd June 2025. Our daughters took us, with 2 of their children. I ordered the Parmigiana Party Pizza and my wife ordered the Black Truffle Pizza. we split them and have each of each. Fabulous! So tasty! We had tiramisu for desserts. Great food! We live in Greater Manchester so will be back. Even the kids ate everything they had.

Incredible Italian pizza - Edit
They are fully vegan and make a great neapolitan pizza. So many options, my favourite is the Mushroom one and the new pistacchio and mortadella. Although I think their best item, at least for me, is the cheesy doughballs which I always order as a side. Great ingredients, kind staff and dog friendly

From the moment we arrived we were instantly welcomed and felt right at home throughout our meal. The food was superb and portion sizes were perfect; the tiramisu in particular is the best I’ve had outside of Italy. Next time I’m in Manchester I’ll be back for more.

A lovely visit - Edit
We went to Purezza around 12 noon on a Saturday. The restaurant was relatively quiet at this time and we got a lovely table in the window. We ordered the karma cola which is organic and very nice. I appreciate that they serve nice drinks not just standard Coca Cola. We ordered the agave pepperoni pizza and the pistachio pesto. Both were very good. Service was excellent. The bill is paid using a QR code which makes it efficient, the only downside is there is a small charge to make payment using card. There are no other options to pay.

Unique options - Edit
We had the lunch menu which was £15 for any 7 inch pizza, small plate, and a soft drink. The choice was very unique and varied - the pistachio pizza in particular was really tasty. The mac and cheese had a weird flavour, but the meatballs were nice. The lunch menu was a decent deal in terms of portion size, but I think this restaurant is quite expensive otherwise - a small can of kombucha costs £4.50 for example.

Nice restaurant, cheese not to my taste. - Edit
Went here for a birthday last August (2024). We are a vegan couple joined by meat eating parents. We ordered the dough balls, meatballs and garlic potatoes to start and the black truffle pizza, BBQ bourbon pizza and another pizza I can't remember.
Read moreWe also got the tiramisu which was incredible.
The pizzas were nice but me and the Mrs thought the cheese was very wet, she didn't like the clumpy texture, I thought it was like a white sauce. This left the pizza in knife and fork territory in my opinion. The parents loved the pizza, no complaints.
The starters were the main star for me especially the garlic potatoes.
Personally I wouldn't visit again by myself as I didn't like the pizza cheese too much. But if I was asked to go again I'd get a pizza with no cheese. The toppings were great quality especially the mushrooms.
The meat eating family were really impressed with everything we ordered which is a big bonus!
It was typical Manchester city centre prices, which I personally find extortionate, but not out of the ordinary.
Vibes were good, décor was nice, service a little slow.
