Close to the train station (west side), Focaccia sandwich, burrito wraps, korma curry, soup, hummus, chia pudding, coconut yogurt, rice pudding, kombucha, herbal tea, 'nut milk' tea, smoothies. Open Fri-Sun 10:30am-3:00pm. Closed Mon. - Thu. Arrive to dine before 2:00 pm.

This is a lovely place to dine for brunch or lunch in Hualien.
Read moreIt has a selection of good quality and delicious international dishes to choose from. I tried their focaccia sandwich, soup, and nut mylk tea, which were all very nice.
It is only open from Friday to Sunday. Make sure that you arrive at least an hour before closing time, as they may start closing down if there are no customers. They also usually have limited dishes on Sundays.
It is a little bit expensive by Hualien standards, but worth it for the high quality.
They also have an attached bnb and do night tours, so you may wish to try it out for this too.
Pros: High quality, lovely interior design, friendly staff and resident dog
Cons: Some dishes unavailable on Sundays, no English drinks menu, a little expensive
