Serves meat, vegan options available. A local pizzeria that has tempeh and Daiya cheese for builiding your own pizza pie. Relaxed atmosphere. Open Mon-Thu 11:00am-9:00pm, Fri-Sat 11:00am-10:00pm, Sun 4:00pm-9:00pm.
Our teen has extreme food allergies and it is almost impossible to locate gluten-free & vegan pizza in Tallahassee. We have found gf vegan available in town at one other pizza place but this place is the BEST! As a vegan cook, I must admit that this gf vegan pizza blows my own home cooked version out of the water! The crust is fluffy and tastes like gluten crust and the Daiya cheese is yummy on this pizza! I would give 5 stars if Happy Cow would allow me too!
On a Saturday at 4 pm in Tally, a very hungry vegan found Soul Veg closed on Saturdays and Sweet Pea about to close for the day. Fortunately, Decent pizza was nearby, and although they were out of tempeh, they had vegan cheese. The pizza was excellent, big portions for the price, and the staff was very friendly. I highly recommend them!
2018 Update: This is still my very favorite pizza in Tallahassee. If Daiya isn't your thing, it is still great without any added "cheese". Also they are happy to go light on the daiya - just be sure to tell them how you like it.
I can't say enough about this great little pizza joint. I love that you can order pizza by the slice, include the vegan pizza with Daiya cheese. I wish I could give them five stars.
Decent Pizza has a vegan pizza that I am certain many people are going to enjoy. I am not a particular fan of Daiya cheese, and this pizza is loaded with it. It appears that Decent Pizza is trying to mimic the cheese overload that you find on many mainstream pizzas. For me it was just too much. So, if you do like Daiya and lots and lots of cheese, this may just be the one for you. They have a good selection of vegetables to use for toppings. The crust, although thin the way I like it, did not taste particularly fresh, although many on-line reviews disagree. Overall, this is not a pizza that I will order again, but others may certainly enjoy.
