Wonderful! 80% homemade, 90% organic, 100% vegan! - Edit
This is a lovely cosy cafe near Gare de Lyon. The staff are super friendly, the food is great and the coffee is excellent. Definitely recommended!

This is a really cozy place, and the one time I went there the English style breakfast was delicious. They also sell pastries and snacks to go, I tried the seasonal "Galette des rois" and it was great even if I didn't win the "fève"😄

Thanks for the update on the croissant, even though it's not really realistic to compare our small and only establishment run by one person with a small staff to a vegan bakery and boulangerie that has opened ten shops in Paris in the last 5 years, is financed by an even bigger group (Maison Lendemaine) that has franchises all over the world. We serve vegan food but that's probably our only common activity. So glad you enjoyed our food though, we'll be happy to see you again with our spring menu. (PS : the pic of the Opéra cake isn't from our shop). see you soon :)

We went there twice while we stayed in Paris. Sandwiches and breakfast sets are really tasty, big portions that will set you up for walking all day! My favourite is pumpkin spiced latte!

Best vegan breakfast - Edit
Honestly the best vegan breakfast I've ever had (I won't call it English as a point of Irish pride). The flavours were stunning, especially compared to the many bland ones I've had before. The scrambled tofu in particular was so flavourful, with a smoky taste. The decor was super cute. Unfortunately the seating was a bit tight on space, we had to share a table with another couple. All in all though this was a great last place in Paris before my flight. 100% recommend and it's all vegan! Wish I could return to try some baked goods.

Lovely, a bit expensive though - Edit
Came for the second time today to buy a cinnamon roll for my mum (if you want one from this place, go there early - I took the last one and it was 11am!) and tried their white chocolate matcha cookie. I paid 8€ in total which seems a bit too much for me… at Land & Monkeys you can get away with 1 cinnamon roll and 1 cookie for less than that, but yeah, maybe it’s not the same quality (although L&M uses organic ingredients I believe). Also, I am not very comfortable with the fact that they don't put the prices on the items that are on their counter (not sure it's even legal?) Anyway, it’s Paris so I guess I’m not used to such high prices, and their food is good so I cannot put a bad rating objectively :)

Read moreThank you so much for your feedback, we're just taking a minute to clarify a few points: our cookies and cinnamon rolls are cheaper than the ones at L&M (at least 4€ for a cookie there and same for a roll). We do use organic ingredients as well so the quality of our products is not to be questioned. Finally, L&M is a franchise that has almost ten shops in Paris and was created by people who already owned a chain of bakeries (Maison Lendemaine) so it's kind of harsh to compare what they do with what we do here as a small coffeeshop. And when it comes to the items prices, they are indeed not displayed on the counter but on the very large menu that's behind the counter because you are right, we do have a legal obligation to display the prices and have been doing so since we opened 8 years ago. As you say it's Paris so in order to pay rent and all the charges that go with running a business (I won't list them but there is a lot!), we have to adapt prices and we understand it can seem high when not used to it. Hope we'll see you again when you visit Paris :)

I stumbled upon this place while wandering. It is cozy & has a relaxed vibe. I ordered the toast (avocado, greens, vegan cheese, cucumber, lettuce seeds). What a delightful surprise. It was delicious.

My friend got the the vegan English breakfast which was nice and I got the formule midi which was a bowl (wasn’t that keen on it) and then a cinnamon bun (was ok had better). I brought my own siracha mayo with me which improved the bowl. I got a take away brownie for the next day and OH MY GOD - this brownie was amazing. I’d go back for their brownie! Overall I’d recommend going for their desserts. I didn’t get a drink as they seemed expensive

Wenn du nach einer langen Reise am Bahnhof Gare Leon ankommst, erreichst du dieses süße, super gemütliche Café in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß! Das Breakfast Toast war super lecker, der Chai Café perfekt und der “Cheese”cake ein Traum! Ich konnte nicht widerstehen und habe mir noch einen Cookie mitgenommen. Ich komme wieder!

We came on a weekday looking forward to all the delicious looking waffles we saw in the photos on HappyCow, and then we found out they were only part of brunch served on weekends. We were disappointed, but the croissant and breakfast plate were good. This was one of the better tofu scrambles I’ve had.
