Nice vegan hot pot experience - Edit
We can only agree to the other reviews. The people were very friendly, we communicated via translation apps. We chose the middle menu and got a range of tofu variants along with the great selection of mushrooms. They also served homemade tea (with free refills) for 20 RMB. All in all it was a great experience, only lacking more taste (no garlic or salt) and compared to other places more expensive.

Mushroom hot pot - Edit
The hot pot comes with an impressive variety of mushrooms, some of which I had never seen before. We also got tofu, and some noodles on request. We ordered the cheapest option and didn't get any other vegetables like kelp or fresh greens but maybe other packages had this. The broth was tasty, friendly and helpful service. The dipping sauces were fine but missing garlic onion and coriander, I think because it's Buddist.

Cons: No coriander, spring onion or garlic

Vegan Hot Pot in Chongqing - Edit
The opportunity to try a vegan version of the hot pot with lots of rare mushrooms. We asked for the cheapest and the second cheapest. It included a lot of different ingredients (pictures). We've been offered to add for free potatoes, cabbage and rice too, but we literally couldn't eat more. The girl who attended us didn't know English but used a translator app to be sure the spiciness was ok, etc.

Cons: Bit expensive, but it's worth the experience.

Unique temple hot-pot - Edit
The restaurant is a very simple space, up the stairs to the right after you enter the temple courtyard. I was alone, and chose the 108¥ option, with delicious mushroom soup. I was given two big platters of mushrooms, veggies, etc. and was told I could have more of anything (I got more tofu).

Vegan HotPot in ChongQing - Edit
I walk past and saw this place. I choose the cheapest option coz I couldn’t finish all the hotpot by myself. Quite peaceful eating areas and friendly staff. There’s Temple with Chinese garden eating or relaxing areas.

Delicious! - Edit
A vegan hotpot restaurant inside a temple, accessible from the main road. Delicious food (lots and lots, no chance to finish it all, plus we were offered seconds had we wanted any). It’s got 4 flavours of broth: tomato, mushroom, spicy (ma la tang) and pickles (pickled veg soup, suan cai). Each guest gets their own personal pot to dip vegetables in, so you can try various flavours if you want! There are three set levels of ingredients (“the menu”). We went for the cheapest (69RMB per person) and it was delicious! Lion’s mane, spongy and regular tofu, pea shoots, cabbage, two types of noodles, tofu skin and a whole lot of interesting mushrooms! The place is a few doors up from where it shows on the HappyCow map. I’m attaching a photo of the blue spot (= me at the restaurant) vs the pin on the map. The entrance is through the temple yard door, from the main road - then on the left. Highly recommended!
