Plant based delight - Edit
This is a welcome option in a part of town where there aren’t many vegan options. We enjoyed breakfast here before heading out for a hike.

This place is fresh, healthy, and tasty. The food options are so creative and delicious. So many awesome smoothie choices here... love the mint chip and PBJ ones! Dawn Patrol is my favorite juice here. It’s pretty pricey here, compared to other juice bars and health food spots - but I’m guessing it’s because of the quality of the products, as well as the fact that you get to keep the cool glass containers they come in.

Helpful staff, great juices - Edit
I have visited this place twice and found the staff to be friendly and helpful. The first time I came in I had the cold pressed coffee almond latte and was informed that they have a glass return program (return the glass container and receive $1 discount on a purchase when you return). The coffee drink was good and gave me energy for a morning of exploring. Of course, I had to go back to take advantage of the $1 discount. The second time I was between the Caesar salad and the “tuna” roll, and the roll was recommended. I tried it and thought it was okay. I also bought a dawn patrol juice (also recommended by the employee) and dark chocolate truffles. Those were delicious. I’m impressed by the steps they take to make healthy and inspired plant-based food and reuse their jars. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and I might go back tomorrow.

Great staff - Edit
I was in town for a few days and ordered a bunch of stuff to take back on the plane and the staff was so accommodating. The Macho Taco Salad and the Spicy Suntuna Salad were large. The Sushi Roll was also quite filling. The Suntuna Pate and the Coconut Bakon were so good that I ordered a couple of sides to bring back to my husband, but I ate them before he had a chance to try them. Haha!

This juice bar is coming from the right place. So much heart! CERTIFIED vegan, organic, gluten-Free and sterilization/reuse of glass containers. Their juice recipes, smoothie and dessert recipes are delicious. Treat you like a human being. Love this juice bar!

Downtown San Diego once again has an all-vegan eatery, and Choice now has the most locations of any 100% vegan eatery in San Diego County. Congratulations to owner Nastasha McKeon and her team for their ambitious expansion and success! I live about 3/4 mile away and have visited twice so far. My goal is to work my way through their wholesome, delicious menu!
