Read moreOkay, so this is our staple vegan restaurant in DFW. Their food is amazing! We love to visit for Taco Tuesday for the great deals but they also have a good happy hour and always delicious food. Chips and Queso or Queso with beef are fantastic. The chimichangas are huge and SO good. I had the Hot Chicken Tacos pretty much weekly the past year, they are so good and satisfying. Another one of our favorites are the garlic carne asada tacos. Mmmm. It is a great place for non-vegans to enjoy vegan food. They have a huge menu, the staff is super friendly and I can’t say enough good things about Casa Del Vegano. Come see for yourself and if it is Tuesday I’m sure you will find us sipping our wine and enjoying the delicious food and good vibes.

My 1st stop when in Dallas - Edit
Third time is a charm! This time I enjoyed the Delicious crispy, Jackfruit Thai tacos. The orange sauce has just enough zing - not too spicy. Lovely day for the garage door to be open to the patio. Always a vibe, I love this spot!

I’ve been here a few times and it is always a hit. Everything I have ordered, I wish I had more of. So far, I’ve tried the queso, Baja Vegan Shrimp Tacos, Birria Beef Tacos, and some others that aren’t on the menu any more. I would def recommend trying those 3 menu items!

So happy it's in Dallas/Oak Cliff area. So many other vegan restaurants move further away which is not good.

I've dined in here about three times so far and also ordered delivery through UberEats. Their food is delicious! I've tried the fried shrimp quessadillas with rice and beans, cheese enchiladas topped with chili and queso with rice and beans, black bean flautas with queso, dragon roll tacos, and chips and queso. Also, other friends I dined in with tried the chimichanga. The cheese enchiladas, shrimp tacos, and black bean flautas were the best, in my opinion! The dragon roll tacos were just okay!
Read moreThe menu is overwhelming because they have so many options! The QR code menu puts in dine-in orders, and the regular website menu puts in to-go orders. If you dine in and decide not to order using the QR code, make sure you tell them you're actually dining in, or they will box up the food to go.
They began selling alcohol again and are no longer BYOB.

Super cool and helpful staff! We ordered the ham & jalapeño torta and the birria enchiladas. Both were super tasty and filling. Our drinks were not well balanced unfortunately, but we’d come back to try other items when back in town. I also took off a star because the ham & jalapeño torta didn’t come with potatoes as listed, but instead with more fried jalapeños, which we ended up not eating.

The food was excellent! The Birria Tacos with jackfruit were some of the best tacos I have ever had! The chalupa was also very good. My non-vegan family members enjoyed their food as well. Some of the food is a little spicy, so be aware of that if you are sensitive to heat. The service was good and friendly. The only negative I can think of was the poorly designed digital ordering method. I will definitely try to come back!

Solid, solid option. The food is cooked with both love and educated passion - so much flavor in every part of the meal. I don't think you can pick a wrong menu item.😄Every staff member we interacted with was an absolute sweetheart. I am excited to go back again!

Food is good when you get what you ordered. Service in the kitchen is slow and seems unorganized. You order through a QR code, everything is pretty self serve. They completely forgot a dish of ours. The cocktails are good though. If you get crunch tacos I feel like the power of the shell takes over the flavor of the food. They mixed up 2/3rd of our party’s order. SO MANY TVs! One is on a Love Nature channel with animals killing each other. Someone came begging in the restaurant going table to table and even went up to the employee and he didn’t tell her to leave. Not a place for big groups. They make you tip before service and pay before you receive it. Somewhat accommodating for the mess up of food but didn’t come without some hassle.

The place serves delicious food and the portions are huge. The waiter doesn’t annoy with “how do you like everything” questions when we chew and cleans the tables very well and immediately upon request. Furthermore, the service is quick. However, the drinks come with plastic straws and the waiter doesn’t ask if we want water before bringing it to our table (with straws in it).

The ordering setup is a little weird (scan and order from your phone), but the food is absolutely amazing. Visiting Texas after growing up there/living there for 35 years, and I had missed the Mexican food. The birria here is really good!

Half-assed, Underwhelming and the Worst Service I've Had in Years. - Edit

Read moreFood is decent, but if ordering for pickup or delivery the service is atrocious. Placed second order a week ago after the first was awful but decided to try again since it had been a while. Ordered for a special celebration with hopes of a different experience and it's still just half-assed service. Our Dragon Roll didn't come with the rice or beans side, the Torta didn't have any fried cheese. Blue Corn nachos weren't didn't come with all toppings/sauces. Just a very mediocre and underwhelming experience both times. I initiated a convo on their Instagram and was dismissed multiple times until finally they suggested we come in and order a replacement meal. After a few days of not hearing back again, I declined the replacement because in the end it's not the food that needs work, it's their service and I don't see that being different. Normally wouldn't care this much, but after the delivery fees which I was okay with paying, the meal was still $75 and an important one and their Instagram handler just didnt care.
Pros: Seem competent enough to read my order.
Cons: Comprehension skills to execute order are awful. , Service is atrocious.

I went with a friend who isn’t vegan/ vegetarian and she liked this restaurant. We went on Tuesday and they had taco Tuesday specials on food and drinks. I had a margarita, birra tacos, we split the queso and ordered my 3 yr old a kid “chicken tenders” and everything was so good! The place was so cute but the music was alittle loud.

I tried the southwest chicken quesadilla which comes with refried black beans and rice which was so amazing. The texture was perfect and the flavor was to die for. I also tried the black bean flautas which were by far my favorite. They were so crispy without being dry and had the best spice to them. The queso is also a must try. It reminds me of the skillet queso from chili’s. Definitely recommend.
