House of Deliciousness - Edit
This was our second time here and everything is so dang good!
Read moreCasa Del Vegano stands out amongst the vegan Mexican spots in DFW for their creative menu stacked deep with variety of delicious dishes
We've had most of their tacos by now and while all of them are good, I think the Birria and the fish&chips tacos top the list.
The rice&chicken chimichanga is exceedingly good and brought back so many good memories from before I was veg
The drinks are beautifully made; perfect balance of aesthetics/flavor/strength
I like that they have a self-serve array of hot sauces, though this is a potential area for improvement with so many local hot sauce companies making such phenomenal sauces..
Overall chill vibes and top notch food
Pros: Delicious food, Fast service, Rotating happy hour menu food & drinks
Cons: Hot sauces could be hotter : ), Hot sauces could be more local, Hot sauces could be more natural

So good and a lot of food - Edit
We loved the amount of options and the taste of the food. Plus the portions were plentiful. We ordered too much, so we will be sure to adjust next time.

Huge portions of tasty food! - Edit
Had lunch here with a friend and this was the second of two vegan restaurants we tried in as many days. We were surprised to see the employee we saw at the other vegan restaurant. Apparently, the two restaurants are owned by the same person/group.
Read moreWe started with the Large Totchos topped with Elotes. OMG, this was SO good. The tots weren't as crispy as I would have liked, but that would be an impossibility considering the amount of sauce present. This was a portion large enough for three people, as a full meal! So good! This is a must order!
I had the Wet Breakfast Burrito, which was a large portion on its own, but it was also accompanied by rice and beans. I wasn't a fan of the bean consistency, but it had good flavor. I didn't mind the rice, as others have said it was not good. The burrito itself was tasty, but again, too large a portion after having some of those delicious totchos!
A friend had the El Guapo “Beef” Burrito, and OMG, it was so big it wouldn't even fit on the plate! He also had about half of his entree left over.
If you're in the mood for Tex Mex, and LOTS of it, definitely make your way to Casa Del Vegano! I had no issues with the ordering system, nor with how the food was delivered. Staff was friendly and again, food was delicious!
Pros: Good food!, Friendly service!

I had a great lunch here - Edit
I was attending a meeting downtown and had a break for lunch. This is the closest vegan joint to downtown so I headed over here. Once I pulled up, I realized that I have been here before. It’s an interesting place. You scan a code to get the menu on your phone and then place your order online. They then bring the food out to your table. I got a burrito bowl with fried oyster mushrooms on top and then I ordered what I thought was just a Carne Asada taco, but it turned out to be a meal. lol. Both were very good.

Tex-Mex Heaven - Edit
Deep in the heart of Texas was an amazing little restaurant with simplistic modern design, super friendly staff and great vegan spin on classic dishes like enchiladas and tacos. The jackfruit barbocoa was everything I’d hoped it would be: juicy, texture was spot on and very flavorful. I didn’t love their interpretation of Spanish rice, but everything else from the salsa/chips to the guacamole was fire!

This place rips! Even the rice is flavorful, which is a good sign everything else will pack a punch.

Everything was delicious - Edit
My partner and I went for the first time for our anniversary. Everything looked so good and we couldn’t decide what to get. We ended up getting 2 appetizers, and entree each, 2 mocktails, and a dessert. While it seemed expensive, there was a ton of food and we brought the leftovers home. Everything we tried was delicious.

Delicious! - Edit
The venue is unassuming and a bit dark, but the food is tasty and substantive. The menu offers a wide variety of interesting options that blend traditional Mexican fare with creative blends. Ordering is either at the bar or via QR code—which makes ordering tricky when the system is glitching or you want to modify, I.e. salad dressing in the side. They also served some tasty cocktails, including a spicy margarita made with wine. I was dubious, but it was quite tasty! I’d definitely come back and encourage others to frequent this spot so that they persist!

We usually order through Uber Eats and love this place. I like the crispy tacos the best, but they are all good. Very flavorful and satisfying. We are making our way through the menu over time.

Great food, terrible service model - Edit
At the end of the day it's about the food, and the food is great.
Read moreHowever, the general experience is amongst the worst. The concept is sit at your table and use QR code to order, but to order you must pay each time. So two couples must order separate and separate drinks and separate appetizers. Food and drinks come at all different times. Each and every order you are highly incentivised to tip (for what exactly?)
Then if you want modifications or have questions how a item is prepared, it's recommended to go to front and order with bartender.... So what's the point of contactless ordering? It's so much easier ordering with the person, but that is frowned upon. Infact, the manager will get snippy with any customer that shows any kind of frustration or misunderstanding. Rude is an understatement.
It's just a bizzaro world where they want to be stuck in 2020 covid soooo bad with contactless service, it makes zero sense. It's absolutely atrocious trying to scroll through an app on your phone with people in front of you trying to carry conversation, but you can't have questions because that's not the business model.
Get some freaking menus and let people order food with a person. Don't be a dick because the margarita doesn't say on the rocks or frozen in your app. When someone wants it a different way and you don't have the capacity to take their order to know, DONT BLAME THE CUSTOMER. That's your faulty system.
Pros: Food, Portionsize
Cons: Business model, Service, Price point is high for having no service.

Remarkable - Edit
It would be easier to talk about what I didn't like, which was nothing. I was astonished by how big their menu was. This place definitely has something for everyone. I chose the birria and shrimp enchiladas. Every bite was remarkable and even the rice and beans were bursting with flavor. I will undoubtedly be back next time I'm in Dallas.

You just go in, seat yourself, order from the QR code at your table, and the food is brought out to you. Ordering was easy, staff was friendly, and food was pretty quick. The birria enchiladas, churro beignets, and creamy coconut dream smoothie were all amazing! Top notch experience; 100% would go back! Wish I could try more of the menu!

Read moreOkay, so this is our staple vegan restaurant in DFW. Their food is amazing! We love to visit for Taco Tuesday for the great deals but they also have a good happy hour and always delicious food. Chips and Queso or Queso with beef are fantastic. The chimichangas are huge and SO good. I had the Hot Chicken Tacos pretty much weekly the past year, they are so good and satisfying. Another one of our favorites are the garlic carne asada tacos. Mmmm. It is a great place for non-vegans to enjoy vegan food. They have a huge menu, the staff is super friendly and I can’t say enough good things about Casa Del Vegano. Come see for yourself and if it is Tuesday I’m sure you will find us sipping our wine and enjoying the delicious food and good vibes.

Delicious food! - Edit
I've dined in here about three times so far and also ordered delivery through UberEats. Their food is delicious! I've tried the fried shrimp quessadillas with rice and beans, cheese enchiladas topped with chili and queso with rice and beans, black bean flautas with queso, dragon roll tacos, and chips and queso. Also, other friends I dined in with tried the chimichanga. The cheese enchiladas, shrimp tacos, and black bean flautas were the best, in my opinion! The dragon roll tacos were just okay!
Read moreThe menu is overwhelming because they have so many options! The QR code menu puts in dine-in orders, and the regular website menu puts in to-go orders. If you dine in and decide not to order using the QR code, make sure you tell them you're actually dining in, or they will box up the food to go.
They began selling alcohol again and are no longer BYOB.

Super cool and helpful staff! We ordered the ham & jalapeño torta and the birria enchiladas. Both were super tasty and filling. Our drinks were not well balanced unfortunately, but we’d come back to try other items when back in town. I also took off a star because the ham & jalapeño torta didn’t come with potatoes as listed, but instead with more fried jalapeños, which we ended up not eating.
