I finally found a cafe that can make a great iced matcha! The majority of cakes and sweets are vegan. The savory items on the menu are vegan too! Everything looks delicious. Can’t wait to go back!

Came for Sunday Breakfast with friends and had the carrot salmon sandwich. It was super delicious! The atmosphere is very cozy- cute interior. Lots of vegan options and all drinks optionally with soy or oat milk

I was torn between the vegan breakfast, the vegan lox or the tempeh keese focaccia. I decided on the latter and didn't regret it. Absolutely delicious with cashew cheese and succulent tempeh!

Das Café ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und die Bedienung ist immer sehr freundlich. Es gibt mehere vegane Kuchen, Brownies und ein veganes Panini mit Räuchertofu und veganem Käse. Geschmacklich ist alles super.

Best coconut cake EVER. Service was really friendly and helpfull. It was a shame I had just eaten lunch when I came for 'kaffee und kuchen'. I wanted to taste more of the cakes😉If I ever visit Köln again, I will stop by again for sure.

The tables are a little wobbly but the atmosphere makes up for it. There is lovely food. You can come here for breakfast, the have several vegans options and the (vegan) salmon is just lovely. Just don't try to put lemon on it, that ruins the flavour!

Yesterday we went for lunch to Cafe Rotkehlchen and it was really nice. The cafe is small and cozy, because it was pretty packed the atmosphere and the service was a little stressed, but still friendly. I had a nice warm vegan curry. They offer coffee with oatmilk - my favorite!

This café is just so frickin' cute! I love the interior, the staff is really nice and I had a great vegan breakfast there with my non-vegan friend who liked it as well. Little bonus: they got water stations (sometimes with lemon or mint infused water) where you can help yourself anytime. I have to go there more often!

The Rotkehlchen is a sweet little Café/Bistro located in the Ehrenfeld area close to the local train and also subway station.
Read moreTheir menu offers both meat and vegetarian/vegan options (full meals, cakes, cupcakes), and all beverages can be ordered with dairy free milk. They don't always have vegan cakes, but the cupcakes usually make up for that!
The location itself is beautifully refurbished and very inviting. Make sure to check their merchandise (Turnbeutel!!)!
