Great vegan options and nice vibes inside. We had the tofu scrambled eggs and it was surprisingly good. Very friendly and attentive staff. Overall great option for all the family

Lots of interesting options! - Edit
Brown & Green was gorgeous! The staff were really friendly, the cafe itself was a cute spot and full of people. I had the vegan breakfast, and it was delicious! It was a creative and filling breakfast. They had loads of other fun vegan options, as well as plenty of pastries and cakes. I got an oat flat white and a chocolate and hazelnut cake to take away, which were equally lovely. I’d very happily return!

They have vegan croissants! - Edit
I went here for breakfast and they had a lot of vegan options. I obviously went for the The Vegan; essentially a vegan fry-up. The sausages were really good, and not just the usual Linda McCartney flair. It came with three slices of sourdough bread drenched in olive oil 🤤
Read moreThey also have VEGEN CROISSANTS! Which I delightfully bought as a takeaway for a tasty snack later (butter croissants are probably the single food I miss the most being vegan)
I highly recommend Brown & Green for a good selection of breakfast breakfast/brunch options.
Pros: Lots of vegan options, VEGAN CROISSANTS!

The Original Great Vegan Brekkie - Edit
I've been here many times for brunch, cakes and coffee. When I first went vegan many years ago this was my favourite place for brunch when there wasn't many other places around that offered vegan brekkie. Always a great place to meet friends for coffee, but can get very busy especially at weekends.

Great food, great place - Edit
Food was lovely, had the vegan breakfast and I would definitely recommend it. The coffee was also excellent, a good sized portion. Was nice to sit out in their square although a bit on the main road. Staff are very friendly

Great food but too busy - Edit
Made the mistake of coming here for Sunday brunch.
Read moreAfter having to queue for ten minutes to get a table, the one that came available was near the door, which made it impossible to enjoy the vegan breakfast (which was very good), because other people queueing for tables were standing right over us, and people walking by kept on bumping our table.
They don't have too much space to work with, but they've crammed more tables in here than can be comfortable.
Great food though.
