A Brij To Pleasantville - Edit
“Pleasant” is probably the most apt descriptor that I can come up with in regards to this meal. While this could potentially be construed as being lukewarm assessment, it is meant in the best possible way. The food in general was of a good standard, and I don’t have any pressing complaints about any of it, it’s just that, as a whole, nothing blew me away. This being said, there were one or two items that did excel, the onion uttapam was amongst the best that I’ve had, the samosa was impressively fluffy and the crispy chilli baby corn was a satisfying and punchy little dish that offered up both excellent texture and decent flavour.
Read moreThe only downfall of this place is that it suffers in comparison to its competitors in the local vicinity. There is nothing nothing inherently wrong with what they produce, and it still represents fabulous value for money, but I wouldn’t make it my prime target when looking for Indian cuisine.
