We enjoyed the cute environment filled with plants and pastel colours. They offer a variety of foods and special drinks. The food arrived very fast, but maybe a bit too fast, since the fries were a bit old and the plates looked kind of simply put together. However, it tasted good, but maybe not good enough for the price. We also tried the marble cake, but unfortunately, it was very dry.

The homemade was spectacular as well as the garnish salad and baked potatoes. The choc cake was nice too.

The food is good and the portion size is also good. The fries were a bit plain. Unfortunately, the service was a bit rude and not very friendly. The prices are high, but I think this is normal for a restaurant in the city centre.

Nice to have a full vegan menu with multiple options. Allergies are also indicated. Cosy atmosphere. Beet is on the crossroads between a snackbar and a restaurant and we had a great meal. Kids mac'n'cheese comes recommended.

It is great to have a plant-based restaurant with so many options to choose from. The service is good, not outstanding. Some things could be improved on: The music was constantly skipped, fast forward or all of a sudden muted, which was pretty annoying to experience during dinner. The dishes are lacking a protein source (not nutritionally apt). It could be easily fixed by some chickpeas with the curry or a protein source with the glazed aubergine. The latter was tasty but was much of the same flavor. It would be nice to add different flavours to the dish. The white raspberry cake was delicious while the marble cake was a bit dry and heavy. Downstairs there is a big step which almost made me trip over.

Not sure to put the review here or the Seed because there was a sign at the Beet saying to go to the Seed for lunch. I ordered the schnitzel in mushroom sauce. It was good but nothing to rave about. Guess the price is on par for lux which is known to be expensive.

Das Beet & Seed sind zwei Restaurants welche jedoch zusammen gehören bzw. eigentlich ein und das selbe Restaurant sind. Es gibt dort richtig richtig leckeres veganes Essen , es ist direkt in der Innenstadt also vom Bahnhof aus circa 15 Minuten zu laufen. Super schön eingerichtet , sehr freundlich und so lecker.

Love it there. A fully vegan menu and everything I tried was awesome. The restaurants beet & seed are in the same building and belong together. My friends and I tried the Mac’n cheese and the truffle variation. Tasty! The Thai Burger as well! Will definitely eat here again when I will be back.

We ordered the jackfruit taco and the glazed aubergine.

I said they were “almost” meals because they were both missing at least one element that would have made them great.
The glazed aubergine had dry plain rice which could have done with something like edamame or even soy sauce.
The taco needed some guacamole or salsa on the side for the nachos because they were just plain and dry.
We ordered the croquettes as well and these were really tasty treat.

The food was good, but I don't think it was worth the price. I tried the curry, supposedly with seasonal vegetables, and it ended up feeling like a winter curry. It was quite expensive for just rice and vegetables. All three of us thought the food was nothing special. It was good, but not outstanding. However the triple chocolate cake was not good, it was super dry and could use some custard or ice cream. We ate inside and it was really noisy. The music is a little loud to begin with, but the worst was one member of the staff throwing plates, making such a racket it was unbearable. Do not recommend.
