Did really well - Edit
We came at 08:30pm, apparently they're open until 09:30pm now. The service was nice, food was really good. We took schnizels and they were well made!

Amazing cakes! - Edit
I only had two slices of cake - which survived a flight back to Portugal - and were incredible!!! The staff was also super attentive and friendly. Would love to go back with more time

So good, we ate there twice in one day! - Edit
In the heart of the historic center of Luxembourg City, we found ourselves eating not once but twice at Seed for their plant-based-and-proud vegan fare. From the delicious vegan Forest Mushroom Schnitzel and vegan Spicy Curry to their fresh Sweet Potato Chips with Chimichurri Sauce and the vegan Black Forest Cake, we enjoyed every bite. We even engaged with our fellow diners for a great history lesson of Luxembourg and heard Luxembourgish spoken for the first time. Seed is a charming and delightful establishment!!!

On its way - Edit
Giving 3 stars because it's in its way but not there yet. It 100% vegan and they solved the issues we had so that's good but it wasn't the best. The decor is lovely and the staff are friendly. The incorrect order came and then it was corrected but the burger replacement was cold like straight from the fridge. The pure orange juice was fruit juice not fresh orange juice and the homemade ice tea didn't have much flavour. The vegan schnitzel was very nice and the salad it came with had a tasty dressing, that was lovely.

Amazing Caesar salad! 🥗 - Edit
Lovely little lunch stop-off, we went to Seed but it was actually the Beet menu - amazing salads and a matcha latte! 🍵 also wasn’t as expensive as some of the other reviews suggest, €13 for a big salad portion felt pretty reasonable 🙂

Good but poor service - Edit
In the heart of the city - great to see such restaurants around.
Read moreMenu is quite vast but quite pricey - a quesadilla is around 20€
I ended up only getting homemade fries which were lovely
But I had to ask for a plate, cutlery, sauces, salt pepper and tissues
So that was quite disappointing in terms of service and hospitality

Good ideas, mixed execution - Edit
The menu has lots of interesting options, the atmosphere is very nice, and prices are fair for the area. The meat substitutes for the donkatsu and the house made burger patty were very good, and there was something for everyone in our (very picky) group.
Read moreThe quality of the preparation was mixed. The flavor and ingredients used were good, but some basic mistakes stood out to me. The sweet potato chips were soggy, the rice was a bit overcooked, and the green tea was over-extracted. I liked this place, but the inconsistent quality would make me think twice about coming back.
Pros: Great menu, Atmosphere
Cons: Mixed quality of execution

Great Spot - Edit
Whenever I needed to eat in the city, I almost always went to Seed. It's a great place for both a drink and snack or for a full meal if you're up for it. I usually went for a latte and the mac and cheese. Once, I had a slice of some sort of raspberry cake and it was delicious. I brought a carnivorous friend there too and she enjoyed it. Decent price point as well.

True gem in the heart of Luxembourg Ville - Edit
Seed is a fantastic (fully) plant-based find in Luxembourg. I opted for the Tonkatsu Schnitzel bites (deliciously crispy & umami) a slice of apple cake. The menu is creative and includes a mouth-watering dessert counter, hot drinks (shoutout for the Pitta Chai Latte!), mezze to share, bowls, burgers, durum wraps and much more. Whether you’re vegan or just curious, it is well worth a visit. Staff is lovely 🫶

Unfriendly staff - Edit
The staff was very unfriendly when we came in. We just wanted to have a look at the cakes that were on display and got a lecture on how we are supposed to communicate better. We left because we didn't feel welcome at all.

Disappointed - Edit
Because all that good reviews I visited this “Top rated” place in Luxembourg. Servis was very friendly and also the place looks good but … that’s it. I ordered one of the bowls because it should come with glazed eggplant. I get plate with various vegetables around little pile of rice. Nothing really tasty except wakame salad which is already prepared from the supplier. Presentation 0 points for creativity. I expected much much more from this place for the price.

1. coffee stop / 2. dinner - Edit
1. Afternoon
Read moreWe came along for afternoon coffee and enjoyed a coffee latte and a homemade chai latte and a carrot cake and a chocolate cake. We loved that they offer a huge variety of sweet and salty things (evrytging vegan :)) and 3 different types of plant based milk. The chocolate cake was really tasty and the coffee as well. Unfortunately the carrot cake was not so good, there was missing already some part of the cream topping by serving and the consistency seemed more like rubber. :/The chai latte was a little boring. For a home made one I really expected a little more than a bag of tea in a cup of oatmilk.
The stuff was friendly and the atmosphere was really cozy.
2. Dinner
We gave the restaurant another chance and came along for dinner. The avocado burger with salad and fries tasted really nice and the size of the main dish was really good to feel satisfied afterwards. The bowl with noodles was unfortunately not really satisfying. Everything was really cold (not just a little, but ice cold) and there were just a few noodles, so I felt still hungry after finishing... :/
The stuff was really friendly and the kombucha really tasty to name something good at the end ;)
All in all we felt welcome, but get the impression that it looks a little better than it tastes (unfortunately...)

Awesome food - Edit
Love it there. A fully vegan menu and everything I tried was awesome. The restaurants beet & seed are in the same building and belong together. My friends and I tried the Mac’n cheese and the truffle variation. Tasty! The Thai Burger as well! Will definitely eat here again when I will be back.

A lovely vegan brasserie - Edit
They have actually the same menu as Beet. It’s the same restaurant but they have two different entry’s. The entry to Seed is more like a brasserie. Many options! I had a delicious hot chocolate and a black forest cake. A treat!
